Blink 182 Milano: rinviato al 2012 il tour europeo
http://www.musica10.it/blink-182-milano-rinviato-al-2012-il-tour-europeo-15283.html Cosa succede quando una band, per niente sconosciuta, organizza un tour estivo con lo scopo di promuovere il nuovo disco e solo a pochi mesi dall'inizio del tour si rende conto di non riuscire a completare l'album in tempo per il lancio? Succede che tutti gli impegni presi vengono posticipati. Sembra strano, perché una cosa del genere potrebbe capitare ad una band emergente, non ad una ormai navigata nel settore. Eppure questo è ciò che è successo ai Blink 182. La band, infatti, ha dovuto rimandare il tour europeo le cui tappe erano attese in tre città, tra le quali il Forum di Assago di Milano, dove la band avrebbe dovuto esibirsi il prossimo 27 giugno. Il concerto di Milano dei Blink 182 non è stata annullato perché è stato semplicemente rimandato al 3 luglio 2012. La band ha fatto sapere, attraverso il proprio ufficio stampa, di essere dispiaciuta di aver dovuto riprogrammare il tour europeo del 2011 organizzato già da diversi mesi. I Blink 182 hanno aggiunto che credevano di riuscire a far uscire il nuovo disco prima dell'estate, ma si erano sbagliati. La lavorazione del nuovo album, infatti, ha richiesto più tempo del previsto e secondo le prime dichiarazioni non sarà pronto prima della fine del 2011. La band, quindi, ha deciso di rinviare il tour perché non voleva proporre ai proprio fan dei live praticamente già visti. I Blink 182 hanno ringraziato tutti i fan per il sostegno e la comprensione aggiungendo che poiché pagano per vederli live loro si sentono in dovere di offrirgli sempre qualcosa di diverso, come dei brani inediti. Per quanto riguarda, invece, i biglietti acquistati per il concerto del 27 giugno a Milano devono essere sostituiti. Questi non saranno validi per l'ingresso del 3 luglio 2012. I biglietti del 27 giugno potranno essere rimborsati o sostituiti dal prossimo 27 giugno al 12 e sarà possibile acquistare anche i tagliandi per il concerto del 3 luglio 2012.

Il batterista della band, Travis Barker, ha dichiarato che tutti sono disposti a lavorare tutti i giorni, anche nel weekend, per completare le registrazioni del nuovo album entro il 31 luglio. Un altro componente della band offre importanti rivelazioni. Questa volta si tratta del chitarrista Tom DeLonge il quale ha reso noto che proprio quando i Blink 182 credevano di aver terminato le registrazioni sono saltati fuori dei brani che potrebbero rendere speciale il nuovo disco. Lo stesso chitarrista afferma: "Registrare un disco è un lavoro che non finisce mai, in un certo senso: devi sempre farti trovare pronto ad assecondare quello che accade". Le nuove dichiarazioni della band giungono dopo le polemiche causate dall'annullamento delle tappe europee del loro tour per finire il disco della reunion. Disco che tutti i fan aspettavano già da diverso tempo, se si considera che la band ha sempre reso noto di non aver mai gradito l'idea di dover proporre un tour ripetendo gli stessi brani di quello precedente. Solo pochi mesi fa la band, infatti, ha dichiarato che aveva deciso di annullare il tour perché non voleva proporre ai propri fan uno spettacolo già visto. Vi ricordo che i Blink 182 erano attesi in Italia proprio per l'estate del 2011, ma è stato tutto rimandato all'estate del 2012. Il batterista Travis Barker ha reso noto che nel corso di alcune date americane in programma per la prossima estate i Blink 182 proporranno, per la prima volta dopo nove anni, dei nuovi brani.

Travis Barker was walking through Beverly Hills yesterday with his kids, showing off his newest tattoos. We're not exactly sure which ones are the new ones, but we don't remember them crawling all the way up to the top of Travis' head like that before!

The Blink-182 drummer didn't say much...we're guessing he was trying to think of where to put his next tattoo. Good luck with that!!
