Tatiana Carrier for clevver movies with the latest on Star Trek 3 D! . According to our friends at deadline, Star Trek 3D is set to release may 17, 2013 due to a sudden slot opening after roland emmerichs singulatiry got moved from may to November! . JJ Abrahams star trek sequel, which has No title yet, is a highly anticipated one to say the least, and fans couldn't be more excited about the news of the flick coming sooner than expected and in 3d! . The first of Abram's rebooted franchise opened May 8, 2009 for a $79M weekend and ultimate did $258M in North America and $130M international at the box office. The pic is being produced by all those writers and Bryan Burk, who is JJ's Bad Robot production partner. . And for all of you wondering, all key cast members will be returning, including Chris Pin, Zach Quinto and Zoe Saldana. . Hey guys, thanks for tuning into clevver movies, Your number once source for movie news, Im your host Tatiana carrier with an update on the much talked about star trek villain! . We just reported this week that Beneicio del toro stepped down as star trek villain due to moeteary issues, and now according to Variety, Edgar Ramirez from bourne ultimatum and domino, is now the front runner to play Star Trek 2's villain! Jordi Molla who you may from bad boys 3 and blow is also in the running ...so we will have to wait and see! . While nothing is set in stone just yet, director J.J. Abrams is expected to make a decision before the weekend, since the January 15 production start date is quickly approaching! . Star Trek cast members Chris Pine,Zachary Quinto, Zoe Saldana, Karl Urban, Simon Pegg, John Cho, and Anton Yelchin are expected to return for Star Trek 2...the villain? Well, we will have to keep you guys posted on that one! Star Trek set Photos revealed! Hey guys thanks so much for watching clevver movies I'm your host Tatiana carrier with a first look at some star trek action!

So as you guys know there were reports that no cast members from the old Star Trek franchise would be appearing in director J.J. Abrams's upcoming sequel Star Trek 2. HOWEVER, New images from the set have are pointing to this report being false!
.
Both Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto were spotted in their respective Spock outfits in the photos that Producer Roberto Orci tweeted direct from the deck of the Starship Enterprise, on a sound stage at Paramount Studio....he also included a photo of a Star Fleet janitor (actually one of the producers on the first movie), along with a pic of J.J. Abrams and Roberto Orci doing on-set rewrites. There's also a good photo of the entire cast...and remember, you guys can see all the photos on the blog (just check the link in description).

WEve got some star trek pics!!! Hey guys thanks so much for tuning into clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier with a first look at some pretty rad pics straight from the set of star trek 2 that may be giving us some insight into the very hush hush villian!!!

So far besides knowing we cant wait for star trek 2, we know VERY LITTLE about the flick. We don't have an official title, we don't know the plot, and we don't know who Benedict Cumberbatch is playing...that is, until now...Though director J.J. Abrams and others associated with the film have refused to confirm Cumberbatch would be playing the film's villain, these first look set photos, are pointing to all signs screaming villain!!!" .

In director J.J. Abrams' "Star Trek" sequel, we see quite clearly that Zachary Quinto's returning Spock and the newcomer played by Cumberbatch are very much NOT PLAYING nice.... The two are locked in battle on top of what's being described as "a Space Barge set...leading us to believe that cumberbatch is in fact the villain as we previously suspected. Also----Cumberbatch has been described as wearing a "black Starfleet shirt" though we aren't getting a clear confirmation on that from the photos...not to mention, from the photos...we are getting confirmation that he will be playing a human character! .
IN the second image, we see Zoe Saldana as Nyota Uhura using a a Phaser Gun to save Spock from Cumberbatch's Villain on the space barge . for a closer look at the photos, click the link in the description to check out the ClevverMovies blog

New star trek fight scenes UNLEASHED!!! Hey guys, thanks so much for watching clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier with the latest on Star Trek

WE recently showed you guys some set photos that appeared to be a fight between spock and benedict cumberbatchs character who we assume is the villain...only to hear from spock star Zachary quinto that what we saw wasn't actually a fight scene...or atleast, that's what he tells us.

AND NOW, SplashNews Online has posted this video of Zachary Quinto and Benedict Cumberbatch fighting on the set of J.J. Abrams' next Star Trek film. As you guys know everything has been SUPER hush hush regarding EVERYTHING star trek 2...we don't even have an official title yet...and it seems that everytime press gets to the star trek sequel stars, they are keeping it VERY vague and careful not to give anything away. Recently, zoe saldana spoke about cumerbatches character, and ofcourse gave us nothing, she said, "Another yummy male actor in 'Star Trek' ? that's what he's adding, and I'm enjoying it," ...

And how does good ol JJ abrams feel about all this leaking despite trying to keep things on the DL, well he ISNT happy....According to zoe, hes upset...she said, ""J.J. was very upset...I have to say that. It's not going to stop people from intruding, but they are, and it's such a bummer because it only hurts them by stealing away the surprise."

We have set photos from star trek 2 coming your way!

Star Trek 2 is definitely one of the most aniticpated films for us movie buffs and with everything about the movie being so hush hush, we get really excited when we get a glimpse into the trekkie world.

Here are some of the newest photos from set! we see Zachary Quinto as Spok filming an action scene for the Untitled Star Trek 2 Sequel.

After first rehearsing the scene with a Spok Stunt Double Actor Zachary Quinto was then rigged to a wire in front of a large green screen and lifted to a height of 10 stories high then dropped at a high rate of speed as if he was falling. In the scene Spok is wearing a "Volcano Suit" and carrying an unknown piece of equipment with the Starfleet Emblem. A Volcano is somehow involved in this scene. The crew had a real fire burning off camera to catch the fire reflections on Spok's "Volcano Suit".
