A new photo has been released for The Hunger Games, which is slated for March 23, 2012, which features Jennifer Lawrence as Katniss Everdeen drawing her bow and arrow! Now there may not be MUCH to see here but you know we have to show you anything and everything from these guys! Also a little nugget of info for you hunger games fans...if your hoping for a sequel or 3rd installment of the flick, The Hunger Games would have to make ateleast 100 million to move forward with seqeuls. To break it down, The $80 million budget for The Hunger Games makes it the most expensive production ever for Lionsgate. However, analyst James Marsh predicts The Hunger Games could take in anywhere between $220 million and $733 million in worldwide pre-tax earnings. Lionsgate president Jon Feltheimer also indicated the 100 million figure for the seqeuls. Reagrding this target gross, he said, "I'm not too concerned we won't get to that kind of number. We would be disappointed if we didn't make three or four movies." The Hunger Games directed by Gary Ross comes to theaters March 23rd, 2012 and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth, and Woody Harrelson. Hey everyone, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im Tatiana carrier with the latest from The Hunger Games and the composer who just exited the highly anticipated flick! . According to our friends at Variety, Composer Danny Elfman is leaving Lionsgate's "The Hunger Games" because of scheduling conflicts...not to worry, the flick will NOT be score-less...elfman has been replaced by James Newton Howard. . Back in July Lionsgate, that Elfman and T Bone Burnett would collarorate on the score with Burnett also serving as the film's executive music producer. Burnett is continuing his full involvement in "Hunger Games," as previously announced minus Elfman at his side. , SO whats got elfman all tied up? Well he is currently completing work on Sony's "Men in Black III" and Tim Burton's "Dark Shadows" for Warner Bros. . The Hunger Games is directed by Gary Ross and stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Elizabeth Banks, Liam Hemsworth and Woody Harrelson and will released on March 23rd of next year! The Hunger Games SEQUEL nails down a writer! Hey guys thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im your host, Tatiana Carrier coming to you from our Hollywood headquarters with the low down on the hunger games! . The original isn't even out until May but studio execs are already thinking about that sequel! According to The Wrap, the sequel has locked in Simon Beaufoy ( who you may know from "Slumdog Millionaire," and "127 Hours") to pen the script for Catching Fire, the sequel to the hunger games. . Gary Ross, who directed "Hunger Games," will also direct the sequel and is supervising the writing of the script. . AS you guys already know, The films are based on Suzanne Collins' bestselling young-adult novels about a nationally televised fight in which teens compete to the death. The Hunger games will release March 23rd and stars Stars Jennifer Lawrence, Josh Hutcherson, Woody Harrelson and Liam Hemsworth who are all expected to return for "Catching Fire," which will hit theaters Nov. 22, 2013. .
