Weekend Box Office Wrap-Up: The Debt, Shark Night 3D, Apollo 18
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Hey everyone, I hope you had a fabulous weekend, Im Tatiana carrier with Clevver movies, and I have the results from this past weekends box office numbers! Well the HELP has done it again! Emma Stone, Viola Davis and Octavia spencer have taken over the box office and they refuse to leave! The Help grossed an incredible 19 million in the boxoffice beating out all the new comers this holiday weekend and now has a steady cume of 123.5 million since opening day of August 10th. These ladies have been in the top three every weekend since the flick opened a month ago and we think the girls are here to stay atleast for the next few weekends. Out of the newbies, The Debt surprisingly reigned champ earning 12. 6 in the box office. The Nazi hunting drama stars Helen Mirron, Sam Worthington, Tom Wilkinson, and someone who was in the flick that came in first, Jessica Chastain, who also co-starred in the help. Apollo 18 and Shark Night3D were pretty much head to head. Apollo 18 came in just head of Shark night with 10.7 million this weekend, lower then the expected numbers, but still ok considering the flick had a 5 million dollar production budget and barely any marketing costs. Shark Night 3D which had a bit higher production budget of 20 million, made 10.3 million this past weekend which is right around what was projected for the shark fest flick which placed in 5th just after The Rise of the Planet of the Apes who stood strong in 4th with 10.3 million. Did you guys see any of the top five weekend flicks over the long holiday weekend? Let us know ifyou did and what you thought! Oscar 2012 Predictions: Best Picture
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Hey everyone, thanks for tuning back into Clevver Movies, I'm your host Tatiana Carrier with our Oscar predications! Today we breakdown the best category of them all, the nominees to receive an Oscar for best picture! Heres what we think! The Artist- the silent film that's made LOTS of noise in hollywood The Descendants- the story of A land baron who tries to re-connect with his two daughters after his wife suffers a boating accident. The Help- one of my favorites of the year starring emma stone, viola davis and Jessica chastain Hugo- the family film that put asa butterfeild on the map! Midnight In Paris- the rom com that everyones gotta check out starring owen Wilson, Rachel mccadams and Kathy bates Moneyball- the brad putt baseball flick that teamed him up with now pal Jonah hill And finally War Horse- the story of Young Albert who enlists to service in WWI after his beloved horse, Joey, is sold to the cavalry. Albert's hopeful journey takes him out of England and across Europe as the war rages on. . Now, the Academy could nominate between 5 and 10 films. They could just go with the above 7, or any of these films could take the other 3 spots. More likely choices are: 50/50, Drive, Extremely Loud and Incredibly Close, Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows Part 2, The Ides of March, In the Land of Blood and Honey, The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo, My Week with Marilyn, Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, The Tree of Life . But what do you guys think? If these are the films nominated, who would you like to see win? Let us know by commenting below! Thanks for watching, we will catch you next time!
Oscar 2012 Predictions: Best Actress
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Hey everyone, thanks for tuning back into Clevver Movies, I'm your host Tatiana Carrier with our Oscar predications! Today we breakdown who we think will get nominated to receive an Oscar for best actress! Heres what we think! Glenn Close "Albert Nobbs" Meryl Streep "The Iron Lady" Michelle Williams "My Week with Marilyn" Tilda Swinton "We Need To Talk About Kevin" Viola Davis "The Help" . I think this could be the category with some big surprises. So while I think this is a solid list, any of them could easily be replaced by Charlize Theron "Young Adult", Elizabeth Olsen "Martha Marcy May Marlene", Jody Foster "Carnage", Kate Winslet "Carnage", Rooney Mara "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo"...so we will just have to wait and see!!! So who would YOU like to see get nominated and better yet win?! Let us know by commenting below and be sure to keep it locked right here on clevver movies, your number one source for movie news!

Some actresses sparkled in warmer tones on the red carpet, Emma Stone wore an emerald green gown, Elle Fanning went retro in yellow floral ensemble from Rodarte and Elizabeth Olsen sparkled in a short yellow patterned dress.
Kirsten Dunst in Dior and Evan Rachel Wood in Valentino also showed that the Critics' Choice Awards could bring out the major designer names.
