I'm your host Dana Ward and today we're excited to reveal some new details about the next film project for Vanessa Hudgens.Thanks to Deadline for the exclusive info, we know that V is set to star in an upcoming dramatic thriller, Frozen Ground. According to the report, she will play a teenager who escapes the wilderness from a serial killer in Alaska -- one of dozens of women to survive -- and she must prove her story's truth. Nicolas Cage is set to play the state trooper who finds her while John Cusack will play the predator in the movie which will actually shoot in the film's Alaskan location. Vanessa will jet off to Anchorage for the reported October 17 production start date. We love that the star has recently been busy taking on roles outside of her normal on-screen presence, so we want to know if you're ready to see her in Frozen Ground, especially since it's a thriller. Troops fire in the air to disperse a crowd attacking government offices in Sidi Bouzid.
It was here that 10 months ago vegetable seller Mohamed Bouazizi set fire to himself in a protest that ignited revolts around the Arab world.
Rachid Ghannouchi, the leader of Ennahda, the Islamist party which won Tunisia's first free election appealed for calm, accusing forces linked to the ousted president of fanning violence.
The unrest was not linked directly to the Ennahda win, but to the fact that a party headed by a businessman popular in the town had been eliminated from the ballot over allegations of campaign finance violations.
An Interior Ministry source said a night curfew would be imposed in the town from 7 p.m. (1800 GMT) until 5 a.m, with exceptions made for emergencies and health related issues.

We recently reported that Kristen stwerart was to star in Akira, and little detail was available on the plot, until now. Acting Auditions (via Bleeding Cool) has posted a possible early synopsis for the Akira movie at Warner Bros. that will be directed by Jaume Collet-Serra. .The synopsis reads: Kaneda is a bar owner in Neo-Manhattan who is stunned when his brother, Tetsuo, is abducted by government agents led by The Colonel. Desperate to get his brother back, Kaneda agrees to join with Ky Reed and her underground movement who are intent on revealing to the world what truly happened to New York City thirty years ago when it was destroyed. Kaneda believes their theories to be ludicrous but after finding his brother again, is shocked when he displays telekinetic powers. Ky believes Tetsuo is headed to release a young boy, Akira, who has taken control of Tetsuo's mind. Kaneda clashes with The Colonel's troops on his way to stop Tetsuo from releasing Akira but arrives too late. Akira soon emerges from his prison courtesy of Tetsuo as Kaneda races in to save his brother before Akira once again destroys Manhattan island, as he did thirty years ago. . The site also reveals that Garrett Hedlund will play Kaneda, Kristen Stewart is Ky, Ken Watanabe is The Colonel, and Helena Bonham Carter is Lady Miyako. . Obama: U.S. requested Iran return downed drone
ROUGH CUT - NO REPORTER NARRATION
STORY: President Barack Obama on Monday (December 12) said the U.S. government had requested the return of a spy drone downed over Iran but declined to discuss if its loss could compromise U.S. national security.
"We have asked for it back. We'll see how the Iranians respond," Obama said during a joint news conference with Iraqi Prime Minister Nuri al-Maliki after the two met at the White House. The meeting comes just weeks before the last American troops are slated to leave the country. Obama announced in October that troops will be withdrawn by December 31 according to the terms of a 2008 bilateral security pact.
Obama acknowledged differences between Washington and Baghdad on how to deal with Syrian President Bashar al-Assad's government's crackdown on pro-democracy demonstrators but said Maliki was acting in Iraq's best interests.
Fulfilling a pledge to Americans weary of the nearly nine year old war, Obama is pulling nearly all U.S. troops out of Iraq by Dec. 31, after a deal to keep thousands of U.S. trainers on the ground fell apart over the issue of immunity.
This has fanned concern about a power vacuum in the country that could be exploited by neighboring Iran, which has sought to exert influence over Iraq's majority fellow Shi'ites since the United States toppled Iraqi dictator Saddam Hussein.

Indeed, the rally is seen as benefiting Obama and the Democrats, who are likely to the polls next week. Obama in turn plans to appear on Stewart's show. Whether Stewart's fan base can stay energized and show up at the polls remains to be seen. November 2, after all, marks the return of the McRib sandwich at McDonald's. 

Iraq blast kills 15 pilgrims
The aftermath of a bomb blast in Iraq's Basra city.
At least 15 are dead after a suicide bomber disguised as a policeman targeted Shi'ite pilgrims.
The pilgrims were on their way to a mosque just west of the city to observe the end of Arbain, one of the major holy days for Shi'ite Muslims.
Scores of pilgrims have been killed in similar attacks over the last few weeks.
The new wave of bombings has fanned fears of a return to sectarian violence now that US troops have pulled out of the country.
