Pink Floyd's pig flies again.
It took a very early start, 12 canisters of gas and some careful manoeuvres to recreate one of British rock music's most enduring images.
Throw into the mix an inflatable pig the size of a bus above London's Battersea Power Station, and you have a recreation of Pink Floyd's Animals album cover -- 35 years on from the original shoot -- and restaged to mark the reissue of the band's back catalogue.
The original photographer Howard Bartrop was just twenty-three years old in December 1976 and on one of his first professional assignments.

"It was quite tricky that day and very cold and of course famously after a day or so we had the problem where he floated up away from the building and was spotted by commercial pilots landing into Heathrow. He then floated off towards Kent, followed by a police helicopter, landed in a farm I believe and frightened all the cattle. Basically he was retrieved, patched up and put back in the air the next day so we could try and photograph him again."
Record bosses had to commission a new exact replica inflatable pig for the stunt because the original cover star was found to be leaky.

We still have to wait until October before we dive into the online world of Pottermore, but thanks to J.K. Rowling, a select few can gain early access to the world of Harry Potter. Some of you may have already secured your spot for early admittance, but for the rest of us, there's still time. The message on Pottermore reads "7 books, 7days, 7chances." That seven --day window began on July 31st and will continue through August 6th. During this time, fans must find The Magical Quill. Each day a clue is revealed on the Pottermore homepage that will lead you to another online dimension of Pottermore. The Pottermore Insider breaks it down for us with this example: Let's just say the clue is "How many books are there in the Harry Potter series? Multiply this number by 10." From there, you would add the answer- in this case, 70 -- to the end of the web address. So you would then go to www.pottermore.com/70, which is where The Magical Quill is located. But don't take too long, because once you find the quill, you have to register -- and registration is only open until a few spaces are filled each day. If no spots are left, better luck tomorrow. Here's another tricky part -- Pottermore isn't revealing when the clues go live, so you'll have to keep a close eye on the site. Each day's clue will relate to each book in the series, starting with the first book in the series on Day 1 and so on, ending with Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows on Day 7. Rob's "Cosmopolis" co-star Paul Giamatti, just revealed to MTV that Robert is "in every second of this movie. The whole thing is him." And according to Paul, who by the way is one of Hollywood most-well-respected actors, Rob's part in the new flick is "very, very tricky," but he was "really at home with it," which left Paul "really impressed." In "Cosmopolis" Rob takes on the role of Eric Packer, a young man working in finance, who has the limo ride of his life in the movie. E3 2011 PS Vita Uncharted: Golden Abyss Hands on Demo

After much anticipation I finally got to check out the upcoming Uncharted game on the Playstation Vita, find out how cool it really is and why you'll want it too right now on Clevver Games. . Welcome back to our E3 2011 coverage I'm Andrea Rene here with a hands on look at the upcoming Uncharted: Golden Abyss. Clearly the flagship title for Vita, this game looks beautiful. If you are a fan of the series you know how fantastic the look of Uncharted is and the 5 inch OLED screen certainly does it justice. . The story is set before the Uncharted series but isn't necessarily a prequel. Nathan Drake is back and is in another jungle looking for treasure, but as interesting as the story probably is, let's take a look at the Vita functions and how they fit in with the Uncharted mechanics. The dual sticks simulate the movements you'll get on the PS3's dual shock controller and the buttons are mapped the same as well. . But instead of using buttons to jump in climb you can also utilize the touchscreen. By tapping vines you'll grab them, by touching rocks you'll climb, and there is a very cool function called Painting the Path that allows you to draw out where you want Nathan to climb. Makes those tricky wall climbs easier than ever, and you can couple that with the Accelerometer to give momentum in certain situations. . The feature I thought had the coolest fun factor? Virtual panoramic view with Camera Mode! You can hold the Vita up and move it around and Drake looks with you, super cool! You'll need this mode to take photos to pass mini puzzles throughout the game. Speaking of puzzles, you'll find lots of them along the way include this one where I had to take charcoal rubbings by using the touchscreen and then match up those pieces together to make a picture. . I ran out of time with designer Brian Cotton before we really got into some heavy combat but I'll be sure to bring you more info on Uncharted: Golden Abyss in the coming months.
