Blink 182 Nuovo Album: sarà pronto entro fine luglio

Il batterista della band, Travis Barker, ha dichiarato che tutti sono disposti a lavorare tutti i giorni, anche nel weekend, per completare le registrazioni del nuovo album entro il 31 luglio. Un altro componente della band offre importanti rivelazioni. Questa volta si tratta del chitarrista Tom DeLonge il quale ha reso noto che proprio quando i Blink 182 credevano di aver terminato le registrazioni sono saltati fuori dei brani che potrebbero rendere speciale il nuovo disco. Lo stesso chitarrista afferma: "Registrare un disco è un lavoro che non finisce mai, in un certo senso: devi sempre farti trovare pronto ad assecondare quello che accade". Le nuove dichiarazioni della band giungono dopo le polemiche causate dall'annullamento delle tappe europee del loro tour per finire il disco della reunion. Disco che tutti i fan aspettavano già da diverso tempo, se si considera che la band ha sempre reso noto di non aver mai gradito l'idea di dover proporre un tour ripetendo gli stessi brani di quello precedente. Solo pochi mesi fa la band, infatti, ha dichiarato che aveva deciso di annullare il tour perché non voleva proporre ai propri fan uno spettacolo già visto. Vi ricordo che i Blink 182 erano attesi in Italia proprio per l'estate del 2011, ma è stato tutto rimandato all'estate del 2012. A confident quote from Warner Brothers,"We have a winner here, you fellas are gonna love it and we're getting the ball rolling for more now because of that!" . While we have nothing to go by, we agree! With Zach Snyder at the helm, star on the rise henry Cavill to star, and the iconic superman character at the center, we think a sequel is a no brainer. . Now while we haven't had a single glimpse from the flying superhero, we're hearing through the grapevine that executives in Burbank are very happy with what they've seen from The Man of Steel so far. Both regarding the latest round of rewrites as supplied by the Mulroneys (the husband-wife writing duo behind the unmade Justice League: Mortal and Sherlock Holmes: A Game of Shadows) and the footage assembled. . Steve Kloves at the very top in addition to Travis Beacham and Lawrence Kasdan are being sought out to pen the sequel...and as you guys know, these movies don't get made quickly, so we never think its too early to start planning! . Rain slows Australia bushfires
Bushfires continue to burn on Saturday near the town of Wilmington, around 280 miles north of Adelaide, Australia, and on Moreton Island near Brisbane.
The Wilmington fire started on Wednesday and has since burned more than 20,000 acres of land.
Rains have slowed the fire down, allowing time for crews to build fire breaks.
But the fire isn't completely out.
(SOUNDBITE) (English) UNIDENTIFIED MAN, SAYING:
"You've still got live fire out there, and big stumps will burn for days."
The fire came within three miles of the town.
But at least for the immediate future, Wilmington is safe.
On Moreton Island, a bushfire continued to burn on Saturday.
Authorities were concerned that predicted 30 mile per hour wind gusts could fan the flames.
But the Queensland Fire Service has said there's no immediate threat to townships or resorts on the island.

Fans recount Egypt soccer violence
Seventy-four people were killed on Wednesday night at a soccer match in Egypt's northern city of Port Said.
One thousand people were also injured after local team al-Masry beat Cairo's Al Ahli club.
Many people blame the ruling military for failing to prevent the violence - amid reports that security stood by as scores were killed.
Here in Cairo, one fan of the Al Ahli Club describes what happened.
(SOUNDBITE) (Arabic) MALE AL AHLI FAN WHO WAS AT THE MATCH WHERE VIOLENCE ERUPTED, SAYING:
"They said to us, we have brought your funeral shrouds with us. And then we were attacked horribly. And then they went to the tunnel and the doors were shut with chains, that's the first thing, and the lights were shut off, they were firing rubber bullets. I swear to God, I saw people being thrown off the stadium steps. There was a young man name Islam, who was 17 years old, who was standing next to me and then suddenly he was lying with a skewer in his head, and his eye was blown out the other side of his head."
Another fan says the head of security for Port Said should be held accountable. "Isn't he in charge of our safety?" he asks.
Facing increasing pressure to end frequent bouts of deadly violence in Egypt, the Supreme Council of the Armed forces has declared three days of national mourning, and vowed to compensate victims' families.
