PRESENTED BY ZEB ACHONU
PHOTOGRAPHED, PRODUCED, AND DIRECTED BY THE SPREZZ
SOUND RECORDED BY LEOPOLD NAESSENS

Marie Naffah is one of London's brightest up-and-coming stars, her debut album Little Surprises wowing her fans with its acoustic charm and playful lyrics. A gifted guitarist, Marie's tranquil sound combines Tracy Chapman's soul with Jack Johnson's swagger to suit her own take on acoustic/folk music. This unique singer-songwriter may only be 18, but having performed a number of high profile gigs and with her charity single in aid of Help for Heroes ('Soldier On') available to download on iTunes, she already boasts a wealth of experience. One of Marie's newest tracks Blindfold, written and performed blindfolded about a girl who has lost her sightsimply proves the distinctive style and quirky attitude held in great esteem by this promising talent, through her captivating melodies and powerful lyrics.

"I love what I do, I feel incredibly lucky, and the fans & friends make it all possible. THANK YOU. I am so grateful!"

Canadian born Melanie Dekker loves to share her music. She'll tease you, unease you and play one or ten more just to please you. She has been making records and touring for 13 years. You'll never see the same show twice, as they are spontaneous and musically diverse; as the thrill of being on stage hasn't left her & she plays her concerts with a variety of accompanists (from Violinists to Electric guitarists). She's performed for President William J. Clinton, shared the stage with Diana Krall, Faith Hill & Bryan Adams, and she was up for humanitarian artist & video of the year at the LA Music Awards 2008. Over Christmas 2009 Dekker went to Afghanistan to sing for the Canadian & US troops. In between touring in 2010 she recorded an uplifting & colourful new album called "Here & Now"; the songs carry messages she pondered throughout her travels.

Mel (as most of her friends call her) delivers playful and potent messages in her previous albums REVEALED & ACOUSTIC RIDE as well, which she energizes her audiences with world-wide. Many of the songs explore the ups and downs of love where she sometimes writes about attraction & and other times longing and confusion. Her percussive style guitar playing accompanies her most of the time though some of her most touching ballads are performed both a-capella and on piano. With "a voice like chocolate", one can hear some of her influences, which include story-tellers like Tracy Chapman, Emmylou Harris, Billy Joel and Sheryl Crow.

"It feels great to be on the edge of wonder and even better to capture it." ... Melanie

Melanie has released a new album "Here &Now" and she is now touring around the world with it!

Next live performance: Oct 4th Godset Kolding - Denmark

Tracy Chapman Talkin'bout a (On parle d'une...) Revolution adapt. AnimalDan
