I'm Dana Ward with the new episode recap for Hellcats. The latest ep, Back of a Car, has a whole lot more drama than cheer moves... and we can thank Alice for starting it up when she spreads the dirt on how the competitive cheer team doesn't get the moolah it deserves - she def gets the smack down to shut up from a higher up - but the damage is already done. See her boytoy Jake and the football team have a big interview op for a glossy magazine that could save their reputation. Oops. Plus, Savannah and Dan are still dealing with "taking it to the next level" physically... and S ultimately decides that she wants Marti's help planning the special night. But when M says to NOT do it, Savannah's insecurities get the best of her and she actually thinks that Marti still has feelings for Dad. Uh oh - roommate tension is in the air! Speaking of Marti, she and Lewis continue doing their dating thing. Plus, she keeps her detective skills in check - trying to help prove that he's innocent. It seems they're getting a break in the case - especially when her and her fellow law student partner have both of their laptops stolen. There's a big spirit party keeps the hype up through the episode. They're all rocking a super 80s theme - thanks to the 25th anniversary of the Hellcats founding. Love the music and costumes - I mean, did you see Tina Turner, MJ, Tom Cruise, Madonna and Prince? Insane. So Alice chooses to bring the magazine interviewer as her guest for the party - and Jake is not too happy! Wanda has a heart-to-heart with Dan, causing him to question his friends-only relationship with Marti. Um, these 2 def have feelings for each other but neither admits to it. D and S take off for their special night. And Marti gets distant with Lewis... The episode ends with Savannah putting 2 and 2 together, figuring out that Dan and Marti shared that moment with each other. And that's it. The latest episode recap for Hellcats.
