Stars turn out for 'Date Night' premiere
Well known US comedians Steve Carrell and Tina Fey took to the red carpet on Tuesday for the Premiere of their new film, "Date Night".
Carrell said that he had long been an admirer of his Emmy winning co-star: "I'm a huge fan of hers. We didn't know each other very well, we knew each other in passing. So getting a chance to work with her was a very big deal for me."
Fey certainly enjoyed the stunts that came with the role, telling her "30 rock" co star Alec Baldwin: "I'm kind of in an Angelina Jolie place - I want to do a lot of that."
She seemed to have Angelina on her mind as she talked about what she would do if she found herself on a double date with the American film star and her husband Brad Pitt. "We would go bowling" she told reporters, "because I feel that I have bigger, stronger arms than Angelina and I think I might be able to bowl better".
"Date Night" is an action comedy in which the pair star as a married couple who head out for a night on the town to try and spice up their relationship. A case of mistaken identity leaves them on the run from thugs in what turns out to be a wild night of car chases and shootings.
The film opens in North America on April 9th.

2009 Golden Globe Winners Predictions
2009 Golden Globe Winners Predictions Hi Im Joslyn Davis for Clevver TV coming to you from our Beverly Hills headquarters WHERE awards season has officially begun. Golden Globe nominations were announced just a few weeks ago and already Hollywood insiders are buzzing with predictions this years Academy Awards. Some experts are actually a bit disappointed in Globe nominations and say that there arent any big trends as far as one film that could possibly sweep several categories. I dont call that disappointing---it just means anything could happen. For entertainment junkies and gossip columnists, the nominee lineup is pretty sweet. Anne Hathaway, Angelina Jolie, and Kate Winslet are among the women being nominated for Best Actress in a motion picture drama WHILE Leonardo DiCaprio, Sean Penn and Brad Pitt are just three of the men up for Best Actor Nods. And if thats not enough to get you to tune in when the show airs in a few weeks, perhaps names like Javier Bardem, James Franco, Penelope Cruz or Colin Ferrell will persuade you, as each of these actors are nominated in other categories. However, the big award to watch for will in the category of best performance by a supporting actor in a motion picture. This is for two reasons. One is that unlikely nominee Tom Cruise is in the running for his hilarious role in Tropic Thunder. The other is that Heath Ledger is nominated for what became his last performance as Joker in The Black Knight. Racking up nominations overall with five apiece are The Curious Case of Benjamin Button, Frost/Nixon and Doubt. Film insiders suspect that Button will go home with the most globes and is easily at the top of the list this year. You can also expect Mama Mia to win in the category for comedy or musical, unless an underdog film like Vicky Cristina Barcelona pulls through at the last moment. Making appearances in the television categories are fan favorites like Entourage, 30 Rock, and The Office. I think the toughest competition this year might just be with the ladies nominated for a comedy or musical television series. America Ferrera, Tina Fey, Christina Applegate, Mary Louise Parker and the lovely Debra Messing are EASILY all deserving of the award, so voters definitely have their work cut out for them. The awards are set to air January 11th. But, dont expect to see all your favorite couples together. Word has it that Tom Cruise will be rolling solo-his wife Katie Holmes will be staying behind in New York to fulfill her Broadway role. At least Katie wont have to worry about him running into his beautiful ex Nicole Kidman, because her epic film Australia was completely shut out. That said, this yearss Golden Globe awards are shaping up to be a sure hit!

That's next on ClevverTV. Hello everyone. I'm Joslyn Davis in Beverly Hills with your red carpet runway review for the most beautiful and talented actresses in Hollywood. Now, don't get me wrong-I loved some of the looks at the recent Golden Globe awards, but in my opinion it seems like they were really just a practice round for the amazingness that the ladies brought at the SAG awards. First up, let's talk about two of SAG's big winners-Diane Kruger and Sandra Bullock. Diane was absolutely stunning in her Jason Wu creation. The mustard colored gown really popped on the red carpet and the fit was impeccable. Sandra Bullock is quickly becoming the darling of this year's awards show season, and her Alexander McQueen gown was gorgeous. We loved how the dress balanced classiness, by having sleeves but added that edge of sexiness with the peep hole. And the blue embellishment took the dress to next level. Another look or actually pack of looks that were stunners all around were those of ladies from NINE. Kate Hudson, Marion Cottiliard, Nicole Kidman and Penelope Cruz hit the stage together after they walked the carpet-and the sheer fashion powerhouse of the talented actresses was off the charts. Our personal fav out of the whole group was Kate Hudson. She wore white again (like she did at the Globes) but this time she really got it right. Another lady who totally upped the anty this time was Tina Fey-we loved her purple short dress. She is quite the classy lady, if we do say so ourselves. Hello Bieber-nation. I'm Joslyn Davis and you're watching ClevverTV. In T-minus no time flat, Justin Bieber will be hitting one of the most famous stages in the world - that of 30 Rock! Justin will be the musical guest on SNL and funny-lady and former head writer of the show, Tina Fey, will be serving as host for the big event. Tina Fey is actually really looking forward to working with Justin and actually hopes to do a sketch with him. And after the hilarious success of his recent Funny or Die segment, we're guessing he'll probably get a chance to do a little acting. Tina Fey also admits that she's got the Bieber Fever - or at least we're thinking that she does - she said that she likes people who can really sing and that she thinks he can really sing. Another funny thing you might just see go down on SNL. Well, TF says she plans to pick J-Biebs up and swing him around like a baby. In her own words she says : "And I'm gonna push those bangs out of his face, like a mother." So make sure to set those tivos, because we are guaranteeing with a combo platter of Justin Bieber and Tina Fey, greatness is the only option. I'm Dana Ward and we're recapping the Saturday Night Live featuring Justin Bieber, just incase you missed it, or you just want to relive it all again. To start, Justin Bieber helped out SNL host Tina Fey with the opening monologue singing 'I'm Every Woman'. But the singing definitely didn't end there: Justin definitely took to the stage for a two performances, including Baby as well as U Smile, both from My World 2.0 of course. He had a bunch of great back-up dancers and even had some nice moves of his own. And J-Biebs even surprised us with some savvy acting skills, including a cameo as a love interest at the school dance. But the fan favorite of the night called Teacher really grabbed viewers attention. In it, he plays a kid named Jason who is doing a.o.k. in class and teacher Tina Fey realizes that he is her favorite student. He breaks into a singing dream-sequence for the teacher, talking all about getting together buying her Spanx, Chicos jewelry and a panini. And the romantic dream-sequences get even more funky and Tina kinda gets down and dirty. She comments on his smile, saying it's like watching a baby bunny sniff a tiny flower. She just doesn't know what type of baby she wants him to be: a hottie baby or a baby baby. It was hilarious. I gotta say that Justin's Teacher skit really showed that he's a funny guy and he might just be a triple threat. What do all of the Bieber fans out there think about his SNL performances?
