According to website Broadway.com, Gaga will guest star on the show this season and will be playing herself! Yeardley Smith, who voices the character of Lisa, told the site the cast is super excited Gaga has taken time out of her schedule to come to their studio. She said, "She's playing herself, and the writers describe her as the happiest, most optimistic person in the world. She comes to Springfield to try to cheer up Lisa, but she can't." Sounds awesome! But the thing Smith is most excited about is Gaga's wardrobe. She added, I cant wait to see what she wears! Stay tuned for Gaga's episode to air this upcoming 23rd season of the show. Lets just quickly review its success thus far before getting into their latest development. Since being released in 2004, American Idiot has had more success than even Green Day could have anticipated. From a world tour, to multiple grammys, a cameo on the Simpsons movie, and even landed them a spot on Broadway! Now, 7 years after the album's release, Tom Hanks' Playstone Productions has announced plans to take a version of "American Idiot" straight to the Silver Screen! Hanks has commissioned Michael Mayer, director to the American Idiot musical, to direct the flick. And the lead? Hanks has clearly decided to keep it in the American Idiot fam by appointing Billie Joe Armstrong to play St. Jimmy. Playtone Productions is not new to the "musical gone movie" game; in 2008, they adapted the Broadway musical "Mama Mia," starring Amanda Seyfried into a feature film. Hey Little Monsters, it's been another action packed week for Lady Gaga while on her world tour, complete with an animated alter-ego, and angering fans in Thailand over a harmless tweet. This is What's Up With Gaga? Welcome back to ClevverMusic. Mother Monster started off the week by sending off 'The Simpsons' finale in style with an original song called 'Lisa Simpson Superstar'. Complete with 20 outfit changes, Gaga'a animated self performed on the show to help Lisa Simpson get her groove back after she is voted least popular in school. Of course, Gaga and Lisa sing together and Mother Monster saves the day!

Next, Lady Gaga addressed the controversy rumors regarding her Indonesia show that was said to be cancelled due to a denied permit in Jakarta. Gaga took to Twitter to explain, "The Jakarta situation is 2-fold: Indonesian authorities demand I censor the show & religious extremist separately, are threatening violence." She continued in a separate tweet, "If the show does go on as scheduled, I will perform the BTWBall alone." So Gaga revealed there is a chance the show will still go on AND if it does, she will perform solo. Her producers are reportedly trying to work it out so that she doesn't disappoint her Indonesian Monsters.

Finally, Lady Gaga ended the week by angering her Thai fans via a tweet she sent out to her 24 million followers on Twitter. Gaga wrote, "I just landed in Bangkok baby! Ready for 50,000 screaming Thai monsters. I wanna get lost in a lady market and buy fake rolex." The tweet sparked an uproar in Thailand where fans are calling it offensive and bad for the country's image. We think Gaga was just excited about being in Thailand, and that some took it the wrong way.
