The Godfather - CineMark XD Release hits theaters on March 1st, 2012.

Cast: Marlon Brando, Al Pacino, James Caan, Robert Duvall, Diane Keaton

The story begins as "Don" Vito Corleone, the head of a New York Mafia "family", oversees his daughter's wedding. His beloved son Michael has just come home from the war, but does not intend to become part of his father's business. Through Michael's life the nature of the family business becomes clear. The business of the family is just like the head of the family, kind and benevolent to those who give respect, but given to ruthless violence whenever anything stands against the good of the family. Don Vito lives his life in the way of the old country, but times are changing and some don't want to follow the old ways and look out for community and "family". An up and coming rival of the Corleone family wants to start selling drugs in New York, and needs the Don's influence to further his plan. The clash of the Don's fading old world values and the new ways will demand a terrible price, especially from Michael, all for the sake of the family.

THE STRUMS
PRESENTED BY THELMA BROUGHT TO YOU BY
RACE CAFE -- THE ESPRESSO BAR  www.racecafeonline.com.au

In January of 2011, two best mates (Jai Sparks-Vocals/Guitar and Eric Mewburn- Lead Guitar) sat in the middle of their flood ravaged Brisbane house. The house was missing walls and the only light was from a flickering bulb hung from a nail with a muddy extension cord running from the neighbours house. With only their acoustic guitars as furniture, the mates drank and reminisced. From this night, their first song Oh River was written and The Strums were born.It wasn't long before more old mates joined in on the fun. Dan (Drums) and Enrico (bass) were recruited over many beers and The Strums became a four piece.
The band played their first full band gig to a close to sold out audience as the main support for the party man and childhood hero himself Peter Combe. A few days after they jumped into the studio to start work on their debut EP 'Are you picking up what I'm putting down?!' while playing a solid amount of shows around Brisbane and quickly building a fan base of fun loving rock and roll enthusiasts. The EP is one the boys are extremely proud of, drawing from influences of bands like ACDC and The Clash that they have loved since they were kids. The journey to the EP may have been a speedy one but The Strums have certainly found their own sound. With lyrics that motivate you to take over world accompanied by music that makes your hips move and your brain party. 'Are You Picking Up What I'm Putting Down?!' is set for release in late October 2011

Experience the intense frenetic combat on foot, in landvehicles, or in the skies while playing a full singleplayer campaign, engaging in epic 32 player battlesonline, or teaming up with friends in offline and online co-operative play.

Starhawk's feature set begins with a host of weaponry and a multitude of vehicles for high-speed, extreme combat combined with intense vehicular warfare on both land and air. The game's innovative Build & Battle system lets players alter the moment to moment action by giving them the ability to change the dynamic of the battlefield instantly with a selection of base structures at their disposal, all while in the midst of the fight. The Starhawk universe is set in the distant future, out in the far reaches of space where factions battle over a rare and dangerous resource known as Rift Energy. In this galaxy, colonies of humans, called Rifters, explore a scattering of planets, known as the Frontier, in attempt to mine this energy to make an honest living, but find their way of life threatened by the Outcast, a ruthless species of humans who have mutated into psychotic monsters due to exposure to this very same Rift Energy. Caught in the middle is Emmett Graves, a hired gunslinger ostracized from society because of his own exposure to Rift Energy, leaving him partially mutated, but still able to retain his humanity. Starhawk allows you to take on the powerful role of Graves who is drawn back to his home settlement of White Sands on the Planet Dust to face a mysterious outlaw and his war band of Outcast warriors only to discover that this job may mean more to him than he could have ever imagined. He will soon find out that his family is involved in the clash between the Outcast and the Rifters and therefore must decide between those close to him and those he swore to protect.
