Lady Gaga's 'Born This Way Ball' tour rakes in the dough! Hey Little Monsters, welcome back to ClevverMusic. As you know, Lady Gaga is in the midst of her 'Born This Way Ball' world tour and is only 8 stops in. She kicked off the tour in Seoul, South Korea, then jumped over to Hong Kong for 4 shows, then stopped in Japan for 3 show dates, all of which were sold out shows.
According to Billboard's Current Boxscore on their website, in just these first 8 stops of her tour, Lady Gaga has grossed $29.3 million in ticket sales from the tour. That's almost 30 million dollars, and Mother Monster is just getting started. Now remember, gross sales mean that is the amount she made from ticket sales total, without taking into consideration her costs, etc. from the tour. The actual number Mother Monster gets to keep herself is probably a fraction of this.
The ticket prices at these first 8 tour stops ranged from $33 to $312 American dollars. All in all, it's a good year to be a Mother Monster. Lady Gaga reportedly made $90 million last year, including $30 million from Twitter alone. We're sure she'll surpass $90 mill this year, and she deserves it.
