I'm Dana Ward in Beverly Hills and we've got some fabulous GG news. It seems that Miss Hilary Duff will join the ranks on the oh-so-popular, Gossip Girl. According to reports, the singer-slash-actress will take-on a multi-episode arc as the character of Olivia Burke. This newbie can definitely rival the richie-rich lifestyle rocked by the solid cast, as Olivia is a movie star who's attending NYU as a freshman to experience a quote-unquote 'normal college life'. Duff's character will apparently be roomies with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) and might even have some hot scenes with Dan, played by Penn Badgley, who doesn't even recognize that Oliva is a the celeb. As far as real-life Hilary goes, she's a self-described fan of the show, naming Chuck as her all-time favorite character. This 3rd season of Gossip Girl premieres September 14th... And sorry guys, but you'll just have to WAIT to get a glance at Duff in her new role, as she doesn't enter the scene until Episode 4. Here's the Q: Do you like Hilary as a Gossip Girl addition or is she just not in the popular group? What I'm wondering about - and kinda expecting a little bit - is a little singing duel between Hilary and newer-to-the-music-world Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen. What do you think? ClevverTV has the 411 on her new music video up next. Hey guys - what's happening...I'm Joslyn Davis - welcome back to ClevverTV. Today we're dishing about Taylor Momsen's music career. T and her band The Pretty Reckless have plans to hit the Warped Tour road this summer, which will actually have her missing several episodes of Gossip Girl. T says that music is a really a big part of her life and that she'd be nowhere without it. In fact, she also said that "It saved [her] life and [she] wants to share that with other people." And lucky for us, she's already gotten down to the sharing part, with her new music video for "Make Me Wanna Die." It shows off Taylor and her band in a variety of scenes, with T-M wearing that signature triple-thick black eye-liner....very rock and roll. The song is great too - darker than some who aren't already with her music would expect, but her voice is really great. ClevverTV has the full report right now! Welcome back to ClevverTV. I'm Joslyn Davis in Hollywood with an update on Taylor Momsen. The "Gossip Girl" actress has been noticeable very absent from the hit show for several episodes due to her busy tour schedule with her band The Pretty Reckless. So does Taylor ever plan to reprise her Jenny Humphrey role? Tay sat down with MTV and said that the show has been "very, very supportive of the band, and you can't physically do both at the same time. [she] can't be on set and then in France touring or wherever. So they're writing [her] out of the story lines and allowing [her] to tour...so you won't see [her] for a while." But guys, don't start mourning the loss of Little J just quite yet. Taylor added that despite the fact that "Gossip Girl" hasn't even been officially picked up for another season, the future could really hold anything. But overall, her main priority is music and she says that she hopes to do so until she's dead. So are you all keeping your fingers crossed for a Jenny cameo on "Gossip Girl?" ClevverTV reveals which Gossip Girl actresses are saying adieu to the upper east side. Welcome back to ClevverTV Gossip Girl fans. I'm Joslyn Davis in our Hollywood studio with official news on the fact that both Jessica Szohr and Taylor Momsen plan to leave the show as regular cast members after this season. This doesn't come as too much of a shocker, especially when we're talking about Taylor, since we all know she's been outspoken about really wanting to focus in on her music career. However, the loss of Dan Humphrey's old-school BFF Vanessa is a bit jarring. Vanessa, played by Szohr, has seen her share of turmoil this season and will apparently be leaving New York City to go abroad, but even so we never thought it would be for good. The good news is that the door is still open for both of these actresses to make guest appearances in season 5. However, we should also note that Gossip Girl has not even been officially picked up for another season, although we'd be really shocked if it didn't come back.
