Ludivine Sagnier : Je suis une bête de casting
Actrice précoce et récemment remarquée dans le fameux "l'ennemi public n°1" (2008), deuxième volet du dyptique sur le gangster Jacques Mesrine, dans lequel elle incarne sa maîtresse Sylvia, Ludivine Sagnier est l'invitée cette semaine de notre web-émission Le Café, animée par Mazarine Pingeot, en partenariat avec Lesinfos.com, Starbucks France et Dailymotion.
Aujourd'hui actrice confirmée, Ludivine Sagnier a débuté sa carrière toute jeune, remarquée pour la première fois en boudant dans un coin lors d'un casting où elle accompagnait sa soeur. Cours de théâtre, conservatoire... rapidement responsabilisée sur ses choix, la jeune femme grandit vite. Après plusieurs petits rôles comme dans" Les enfants de siècle" (1999), Ludivine Sagnier rencontre François Ozon, qui lui donnera son premier grand rôle au cinéma dans "Gouttes d'eau sur pierres brûlantes". Celui qu'elle considère aujourd'hui comme son "mentor" l'accompagne dans sa carrière et assoit définitivement son statut de sex symbol dans le thriller "Swimming pool "en 2003.
Mais Ludivine Sagnier n'a pas seulement le cinéma pour passion. Fan de reggae, elle a été pendant deux ans l'attachée de presse d'un collectif de musique. Plutôt rap que rock, elle admire notamment le chanteur français Oxmo Puccino, qui avait composé plusieurs morceaux pour la bande son du dyptique Mesrine. De plus, loin d'être envieuse envers la réalisation et la production cinématographique, la jeune actrice se verrait bien endosser le rôle de révélatrice de talents ou encore de directrice de casting.
"A 30 ans, la vie ne fait que commencer". L'actrice admet ne pas avoir peur de vieillir. Bien au contraire. Cette année, elle sera à l'affiche de trois nouveaux films tous très différents, dont elle nous parle.

Corrupt Lieutenant
This is one of the most interesting movies on Harvey Keitel's early resume. Along with 'Fingers' and 'Blue Collar', it's one of his most underrated performances, and a movie that every Keitel fan should seek out. His character here - a corrupt NYC cop - is almost a practice run for his magnificent 'Bad Lieutenant'.
Keitel plays Fred O'Connor, a dysfunctional police officer who co-owns a secret luxury bachelor pad with his partner, bought with dirty money. The city is going through a series of cop killings, and paranoia is rampant, though O'Connor doesn't really seem all that concerned at first. He becomes a little jumpy when he finds himself being stalked by a mysterious weirdo (John Lydon, yes Johnny Rotten of Sex Pistols infamy), and positively freaks out when he turns up on his doorstep, claiming to be the cop killer. O'Connor doesn't believe him but is panicked all the same, as his whole secret life is at risk of being revealed, so he does the logical (?) thing - he keeps him prisoner.
But this is only the beginning in a film that keeps you guessing, as mind games, and 'battles of will', ensue; with some strange identity and relationship swapping, almost worthy of legendary 70s head-trip, 'Performance'.
