Its looking like T3 has joined fellow mega movie Harry Potter and the deathly Hallows part 2 in the BILLION DOLLAR CLUB. We recently reported that the wizards passed that billion dollar mark this past weekend, and now T3 can officially say the same! To date, the third installment of the hit Transformers franchise, and the first shot in 3-D, has grossed $338 million in U.S. (through Monday) and $663 million internationally (through Tuesday). Brad Grey, the Chairman & Chief Executive Officer of Paramount Pictures said, "TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON is the first billion dollar grossing movie in the history of Paramount Pictures, marking a substantial milestone in the 99 year life of this legendary studio,". Earlier this summer, Paramount was the first studio to reach $1 billion in domestic grosses, aided by the $180.7 million opening of TRANSFORMERS: DARK OF THE MOON over the July 4th holiday. This is the fifth year in a row that Paramount has reached the milestone before any other studio. SO congrats to paramount on this huge accomplishment, we look forward to seeing what new blockbusters are to come! Vacation Packing: Reducing Load With Multifunctional Outfits - as part of the Women's Style series by GeoBeats. The trick to not overpacking when packing for a vacation is to pack items that are really flexible and multitask, real workhorse pieces. One thing you definitely want to make sure you spend a lot of time on are the accessories that you are choosing to go with everything. Obviously, your favorite pair of jeans, something very comfortable. Going through airports, depending on what type of sightseeing you are going to do, very important, then all the different tops that you are going to put with that. Skirts, shorts, stuff like that, that go with these same types. So make sure you do not have anything that is just travel or just any one particular thing. That is going to take a lot of necessary space in your suitcase that you could use for other outfits. We are going to talk about how to maximize key pieces. This is just a little strapless, black cotton, easy, really comfortable, blowy. It can be as casual as we want it to be, or as dressy as we want it to be. We are going to do a couple of things to make this different outfits. One thing I really like to do is to layer. So, it gets a little bit cooler. Let us say you are really lucky and you get to be in the Caribbean and that breeze is blowing and you get a little bit cold like I do. You can layer on top of this little strapless dress the cardigan of your choice. This one in particular, I really like neutrals, blacks, oatmeals. This longer, boyfriend cardigan length just adds a little bit more worky to it, and a little less secretary. Then I also like to add belts. You will notice there is a little seam here already on the dress, it is just begging to have something cover that up. I like to add my favorite belt, again, this is that stretchy kind, to this. So I belt this underneath. You can also belt it over the sweater if you want to. But with the extra weight of this belt and then the sweater, visually, then I like to add something a little bit more substantial in the shoe. You can mix and match with different jewelry pieces. If you want to go with the bracelet, a big pair of earrings, something a little bit more fancy. Marta was born in Poland, raised in Australia and has been based in Toronto for the past three years. She has recently re-located to New York City. Her first recordings where written and recorded with Mark Seymour of the iconic Australian band Hunters & Collectors. Since her move to Canada, Marta has won Best International Single at the 2009 Barrie New Music Awards, opened for Mark Seymour on his 2009 Canadian tour, toured the US West Coast and has seen both her songwriting and fan base grow substantially.
In 2010, Marta toured the US Midwest with the band Vinyl Station (former Gin Blossom member), toured Italy, opened for David Cassidy in Phoenix and recorded her latest release Rebel Baby with 27 world-class musicians in three different countries. It was co-produced with Jason Mercer (Ani DiFranco & Ron Sexsmith) and Peirson Ross.
She topped off 2010 by performing a Christmas concert in Lecco, Italy backed by the Gala Orchestra of Milan in the 18th century Teatro Di Sociale.
Marta's intense and moody writing style has gained her attention in the Film & Television industry. Her song "In The Name Of Love" has been licensed for Canadian Director Devaashish Khanna's feature film Fondi 91. Marta's cover of Patty Griffin's "Nobody's Crying" was featured in the popular ABC/Global series Rookie Blue, seen by over 9 million viewers in the US, 2 million viewers in Canada and millions more worldwide (25+ countries).
Marta's song "Back To The Middle" was one of CBC's Mark Rheume's pick for Music For July. And she was Vapor Music's Artist Of The Week in August.
This past year Marta has had great success showcasing at CMW, ECMA Week and NXNE. She again toured the US Midwest and Eastern Canada and had great success at Indie Week, reaching the finals. Her song "A Girl Gets By" recently won Best Alt Country Song (National) at the Canberra Country Music Festival. And two of her songs made Mediazoic's Top 20 of 2011.
Since the release of her debut EP, Marta has evolved from songwriter to producer/arranger. The newfound honesty in her songs is more intimate, moody and human. Miranda suffered a broken ankle, and her bus driver was severely injured. 3am hunger games showings! Did you miss out on snatching up midnight tickets for the hunger games which releases march 23rd? Not to worry, because Imax has announced they will be offering 3am showings for those of you who simply cannot wait another second to see Katniss in action
Imax announced it plans 3am showings of the highly anticipated flick because they want to supply the crazy demand. Greg Foster president of Imax said, "With two weeks to go, we have seen substantial midnight sellouts in Imax theatres across the country, leading exhibitors to begin offering 3 a.m. shows to meet demand,"
With this extra showing, we are thinking the opening weekend is going to be even bigger than we anticipated. As you guys know, we previously reported that early tracking is expecting anywhere from 100-120 opening weekend.

3am hunger games showings! Did you miss out on snatching up midnight tickets for the hunger games which releases march 23rd? Not to worry, because Imax has announced they will be offering 3am showings for those of you who simply cannot wait another second to see Katniss in action
Imax announced it plans 3am showings of the highly anticipated flick because they want to supply the crazy demand. Greg Foster president of Imax said, "With two weeks to go, we have seen substantial midnight sellouts in Imax theatres across the country, leading exhibitors to begin offering 3 a.m. shows to meet demand,"
With this extra showing, we are thinking the opening weekend is going to be even bigger than we anticipated. As you guys know, we previously reported that early tracking is expecting anywhere from 100-120 opening weekend.
