The Hunger Games directed by Gary Ross has just gotten director Steven Soderbergh on board for some help with the big screen adaptation! According to the Hollywood reporter, Soderbergh, who directed The Informant, Ocean's Eleven and Erin Brokovich, is taking the helm for part of second unit shooting. According to Indiewire, which first reported the news, Ross and Soderbergh have been pals for several years, so this collabo comes as no surprise to many! The Hunger Games stars Josh hutcherson, jenniffer Lawrence and Liam Hemsworth and is about A young girl who joins a survival contest in order to save her community in a dystopian future. Channing is set to play a mentor to Alex in Magic Mike, plus he's also signed on to produce the flick.
