Hey Guys! Dana Ward here stepping in for Tatiana Carrier for ClevverMovies. Now we just received some news about one of the biggest superhero franchises in town, X-men. Earning over 350 million dollars since its release, there's no surprise that X-men: First Class is set to get a sequel. As of yet, there is no confirmation on the cast or director, but we're hoping to see our faves James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne and January Jones reprise their roles. In fact the only person confirmed is the writer, Simon Kinberg, and this guy definitely knows his stuff. He produced the first film and wrote X-men: The Last Stand. And his other works include Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Sherlock Holmes, among many others. We don't really know where the X-men films could go next, but if one person could take on this project and make it a success, it's definitely Kinberg. What do you guys think? Weve got the details on whos returning for xmen first class! Hey guys thanks so much for watching clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier and I got a casting couch update from xmen first class! According to the Hollywood reporter, Fox has closed deals for director Matthew Vaughn and the cast of X-Men: First Class to return for the forthcoming sequel! Vaughn joins previously-announced collaborators Bryan Singer (X-Men and X2), who is producing, and Simon Kinberg, who wrote the critically-reviled X-Men: The Last Stand. X-Men: First Class successfully relaunched the franchise, and was one of the best reviewed tentpoles of the year, and earned $353.6 million worldwide. The sequel should benefit from the recent attention that Michael Fassbender and Jennifer Lawrence have attracted via upcoming projects like Fassbender's highly anticipated Prometheus and Lawrence's starring role in the even more highly anticpated adaptation of The Hunger Games. So its official, Matthew Vaughn and the xmen posse are set to return in the sequal of xmen first class..so I have to know, what direction do you guys think the sequel will take? X-Men: First Class Sequel to Revolve Around Magneto!!! Hey everyone thaks for checking back with us at clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier with the latest on xmen first class, the sequel.

Accorcing to our pals at MTV, Magneto is to take CENTER STAGE in the sequel!

Recently Simon Kinberg who is writing/producing the sequel was out promoting his other flick THIS MEANS WAR, and gave MTV some deets about the sequel we are all so excited about.

First he hinted that there will be a lot more Magneto, who as you guys know is played by Michael Fassbender...he said, "I'm a huge X-Men fan. I grew up loving the comic books and it was really exciting to be able to do the origin story of Xavier and Magneto, and getting those two actors, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, were really amazing. So being able to explore those characters with actors of that quality will be exciting a second time around, and doing some things unexpected with those characters, which is the plan."

As you guys know, Magneto becomes the villain of the franchise, but apparently hes a much more complicated character as a youngin, and that's what they want to focus on! And lets be honest, Michael fassbender is an excellent actor, so if theres a person to lead the xmen film, we trust him to do a fine job!

Fox Talks Upcoming Superhero Movie Slate: X-Men: First Class 2, Fantastic Four Reboot and Chronicle 2 and we have the details!

MTV recently spoke with Twentieth Century Fox Co-Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Tom Rothman, and he dished about both the sequel to X-Men: First Class and the Fantastic Four reboot.

The first thing he reveals is director Matthew Vaughn is definitely back for the X-Men: First Class follow-up and that they'll start shooting in January of 2013 for a release either Christmas 2013 or Summer 2014. Vaughn is currently developing the script with Simon Kinberg and Jane Goldman.

Rothman also mentioned that he does believe that Chronicle director Josh Trank may direct the planned Fantastic Four reboot. Rothman revealed that Trank has been brought on to develop the script and may direct the reboot based on how well that turns out. NICE!!!
