Hey Music fans! How's it going? I am your host Bridget Daly here at the ClevverMusic studios in the heart of Hollywood. 'X-Factor' judge, Simon Cowell has yet another show idea up his sleeve. He's suggested to 'The Voice' mentor, Adam Levine that the winner of this season's 'The Voice' should participate in a sing-off with the future winner of the 'X Factor' and 'American Idol.' Sounds like some competition! However, although Simon is totally up for his own idea, Adam Levine isn't willing to join in.
Adam told Access Hollywood QUOTE:
"Simon's just so clever. He's so hell bent on competing with other shows. "We're not really interested in a way ... That's kind of a cool idea, actually, but I'm not so sure we're totally interested in what everyone else is doing. "We're just kind of worrying about what we do 'cause we all know the more we worry about everybody else, the more the quality of what you're doing tends to suffer. So, we want to just do what we do."
But on the flip side, 'The Voice' Season 1 winner Javier Colon was definitely up for Simon's offer, tweeting, if U want a battle I'm IN! I mean, it does sound like a good idea, right? Just imagine watching these three shows all come together for a competitive sing-off full of talented people all on one stage? Hmm?doesn't sound too bad, does it? What do you guys think? Would you rather these shows keep it separate or join in for an intense singing completion? Let us know in the comments below and don't forget to subscribe to ClevverMusic here on YouTube. I'm Bridget Daly, thanks for watching.

Hi guys how's it going I'm bridget Daly and you're watching ClevverMusic. New deets on the X Factor! It was announced this morning that Britney Spears is in deep negotiations with the show on becoming one of its new judges! According to the Hollywood Reporter, Brit's fiancé and agent Jason Trawick is working out a deal with Simon Cowell and show producers about having her appear on the show, and the contract could be ready as early as next week.
Insiders say they've offered Spears $10 million for a spot on the judges' panel, but apparently she's holding out for more and wants $16 million. Simon recently said in an interview that he'd be flattered to have Britney on board, adding, "The fact that she's one of the most talked about ? not just pop stars but people ? in the world today, means that you've got this star power."
Think they'll pay her what she wants? We kind of think so, especially since they need to fill not one, but two seats! Stay tuned on ClevverMusic for more details to come in, and click that subscribe button! I'll see you back here soon. Thanks for watching.
Meet Britain's newest export One Direction
PLEASE NOTE: EDIT CONTAINS CONVERTED 4:3 MATERIAL.

ROUGH CUT (NO REPORTER NARRATION)

STORY: Britain's newest export is Simon Cowell's creation: boy band "One Direction."

The five-member group -- made up of Niall Horan, Zayn Malik, Liam Payne, Harry Styles and Louis Tomlinson -- was formed on the British version of the X-Factor in 2010 after each of them failed to make it on the show as solo artists. The judges placed the young men together, asking them to compete as a group. The members finished as the third runners up that season.

One Direction's first single, "What Makes You Beautiful" became the fastest selling song of 2011 and also earned them a BRIT Award for Best British Single. The song also makes them the first UK group to have a record breaking debut song on the Billboard HOT 100 charts since the Spice Girls.

Two years after Simon Cowell founded the group, the guys said he still has a massive influence.

The band is currently touring the U.S. encountering swarms of adoring fans in their path.

"We can't believe we've come over to the U.S. and, you know, we've got fans waiting outside our hotel and stuff, it's unbelievable, we never expected anything like this, the fans have been absolutely incredible," 19-year-old Payne told Reuters.

Still adjusting to their newfound success, the singers were in shock over the turnout at a fan meet-and-greet Tuesday night (March 13).

"There was about 5,000 people at this book singing yesterday, I actually turned to Louis and said, 'Can you actually believe what was happening right now? All these people have shown up for us.' You just get those little moments ever so often that just make you feel really, really happy and grateful for what you doing," said Payne.

"Obviously because things move so fast, you kind of just go with it, but if you just take yourself out of the bubble for a second and just look at it, it's amazing. Very, very lucky to have what we've got," added 21-year-old Louis Tomlinson.

Harry Styles, 19, said the group is basically living out their dreams.

Toward the end of the interview, the guys were game to tackle some rapid-fire questions about themselves.

Harry proudly took the title of ladies' man, while Louis had no problem admitting to his sloppy lifestyle.

After all the fun and games are done, the members of One Direction have their sights set on one goal.

"With the album being out, we'd love nothing more for the album to go number one, but we're just hoping for the best really. It's amazing to even be on the charts out here so, we're just really grateful to be here," said Payne.

Not even the Beatles or the Spice Girls could accomplish it.

British boyband One Direction have made history by debuting number one on the US album charts.

They're the first and only British group to do so.

Their album "Up All Night" entered the US Billboard 200 with more than 176,000 copies sold.

The boys who were put together by music mogul Simon Cowell on the talent show X-Factor have also taken the rest of the world by storm.

The album entered the charts at number one in 12 countries, going triple platinum in Ireland and double platinum in the UK and Australia.

Their legion of young female fans have no doubt helped boost the boys' popularity on social networking sites.

Online platforms have been created on Facebook, Twitter and Tumblr of girls who have been struck with "1D-mania".

"I love them, they're beautiful, they're talented."

"Huge fans, fans since last year."

Another British boyband hot on their heels is The Wanted.

Their single "Glad You Came" went Gold on the Billboard 100 singles chart.

It could very well be a battle of the UK boybands for U.S. chart supremacy.

One Direction are set for a number of upcoming U.S. appearances including the Nickelodeon Kids Choice Awards, and the tv shows iCarly and Saturday Night Live.

And for now, it seems the only way for One Direction is up.

One Direction hits the courthouse to sue Simon Cowell's label, but woah, watch out, it's a different group of guys! That's right, apparently there was already a band in the States with the same 1D name and the record label is getting the blame for using the taken name. Biz-ummer, right?! According to the Hollywood Reporter write-up, the US band is saying that the UK band shouldn't be able to come into America without causing brand confusion -- in fact, the US band showed proof the mixup by reminding all that when the UK band hit up the Today show, producers accidentally played the other group's music. Whoops. To add another thing into this issue, the US band debuted its album in early 2011 called The Light while the UK One Direction debuted its album Up All Night in early 2012 -- so light rhymes with night?!? I don't know, but there is a lawsuit for 1-million dollars in damages on the table and you better believe that we'll let you know what happens. So be sure to subscribe. And let us know in the comments section below your opinion on the matter and if 1D had to do a name change, what do you think it should be? I'm Dana Ward and thanks again for tuning into ClevverTV. Bye!
