Dans un futur proche, la boxe a évolué pour devenir un sport high-tech. Charlie Kenton, (Hugh Jackman) un ancien boxeur, a perdu toute chance de remporter le championnat depuis que les humains ont été remplacés sur le ring par des robots d'acier de 900 kilos et de 2m40 de haut. à présent, il n'est plus qu'un manager minable qui utilise des robots bas de gamme fabriqués à partir de pièces de récupération. Il gagne juste assez pour survivre d'un combat à l'autre. Lorsque Charlie touche le fond, il accepte à contrec?ur de faire équipe avec son fils Max (Dakota Goyo), qu'il a perdu de vue depuis des années, pour construire et entraîner un champion.

Hey guys, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im your host, Tatiana carrier and IVe got the latest on Frankenstein! The 2oth centur fox franskenstein prohect is ALIVE! And they've even found a director for the flick that could have not happened! Variey reported that REAL STEELS Shawn Levy has officially signed on to helm fox's Frankenstein pic which is based on a treatment by Max Landis. Max Landis's Frankenstein has been described as a sci-fi spin on the traditional Mary Shelley story, focusing on themes of friendship and redemption. Now as you guys know, Shawn levys got to get on the fast track with this movie becayse there are lots of other frankenstein projects in the works including WAKE THE DEAD, a modern day take based on Steven Niles' graphic novels. There is also an adaptation of Peter Ackroyd's novel "The Casebook of Victor Frankenstein" from Ghost House Pictures, and a contemporary take from Columbia Pictures andMatthew Tolmach. No production date has been set just yet, but we are sure FOX will move pretty quickly based off of the competition and we hear that they are hoping for the flick to hit theatres sometime in 2013! Until then, you can check out Levys Real Steel hits the silver screen on oct 7 and stars Hugh Jackman, Evangeline Lilly and Kevin Durand. What do you think of all these Frankenstein remakes? Hey everyone, hope you had a safe and movie filled weekend! Im Tatiana carrier and ive got the results from the box office! Dreamworks and Disneys Real Steel came in first throughout the weekend with 27.3 million dollars at the box office. This Shawn Levy-directed bot battle starring Hugh Jackman received a rare 'A' CinemaScore overall and 'A+' from moviegoers under age 25. The pic is based on the 1956 short story "Steel" by Richard Matheson, which is Set in the near future, where robot boxing is a top sport. In the flick, a struggling promoter feels he's found a champion in a discarded robot. During his hopeful rise to the top, he discovers he has an 11-year-old son who wants to know his father. Sonys The Ides Of March came in second with 10.4 million throughout the weekend. "The acting is absolutely tremendous. You coudn't take your eyes off any one of these actors," Sony president of worlwide distribution Rory Bruer said. Ides of March, costing a modest $12.5 million to produce, drew a B CinemaScore overall and a B+ from moviegoers under the age of 18. Cold Creek Pictures fully financed the pic, with Sony distributing. The flick stars goerge Clooney and ryan gosling. Coming in third place is our relentless dolphin in the dolphin tale. The flick made 9.1 throughtout the weekend with a cume of 49 million. The story centered on the friendship between a boy and a dolphin whose tail was lost in a crab trap stars morgan freedman, Ashley judd and harry connick jr. Coming in 4th place is brad pitt and Jonah hills money ball. The baseball movie took in 7.5 through the weekend for a total of 49.2 million at the box office so far. And finally in 5th is 50/50 starring joseph Gordon levitt and seth rogan. The flick brought in 5.5 million throughtout the weekend for a cume of 17.3 million dollars. James Cameron recently dished to deadline about Fantastic Voyage, and weve got the scoop! Cameron, who was busy with two sequels to Avatar among other projects, does not plan to direct but gave deadline the scoop on Shawn Levy who may helm the flick...he said, "I gave him my idea about how this should be turned into a love story and he's really run with it," Cameron says it's about two thirds of the way there in the development process. Much like Titanic the new Voyage has a real emotional core to it, basically dealing with a doctor going through troubled times in his marriage who finds himself injected into his gravely ill wife in order to save her life. Apparently, once he gets to the brain, things really heat up. Compared to the original, the possibilities of this re-imagination are quite intriguing. We are thinking with the massive advances in filmmaking technology in the 45 years since the original, Fantastic Voyage...the flick is truly ready for a reboot.
