Steven Tyler & Randy Jackson Returning American Idol?

Hey Idol fans, I'm Bridget Daly with the very latest on the show. Yesterday we reported that Jennifer Lopez was still on the fence about coming back for season 11, and that producers are even considering Shakira and Shania Twain as her possible replacements! But now we've gotten confirmation on who IS returning--and it's Randy Jackson and Steven Tyler. The Hollywood Reporter says the two guys have signed their contracts already and are ready to join filming as the audition process gets underway. But Jen is waiting til the last minute to make a decision. Sources say Randy is adamant about keeping his new team together after the success of last season. As we reported yesterday, it really comes down to money. Lopez was paid $12 million for last season alone, and only signed a one-year deal, as opposed to Tyler's 20year deal. Apparently she wants her paycheck upped if she's going to sign back on. And based on what the show has saved since not having to pay Simon Cowell anymore, we say give her what she wants! The show was a sinking ship before JLo and Steven signed on, and let's me honest, they kinda need her! Whast do you guys think? Should Idol pay up to get Jennifer back on board? Chord Overstreet Teams With Taylor Swift For CMT Awards Video

Glee hottie Chord Overstreet is returning to his country roots for a fun new CMT project with two legendary ladies -- Taylor Swift and Shania Twain. According to various reports, Shania and Taylor will be appearing together in a pre-taped video that is meant to remake or channel the famous convertible scene in "Thelma and Louise." Of course the original movie was all about the ladies, but there was also a very memorable guy in the film -- the one and only Brad Pitt. So who will be taking on this role in the fun remake? Well, who better than Nashville native and Glee star Chord Overstreet! Or at least that what we are guessing, based on a twitpic that Chord sent out following the shoot. It pictures him, flanked by Taylor and Shania. He's wearing a cut-off white shirt, has a bit of a scruffy beard and tousled hair -- very Brad Pitt circa "Thelma and Louise." A tweet from Chord read: Had fun today in Nashville with @TaylorSwift13 and Shania. Good times. He also added this info about the picture saying it was from "A little thing [he] was working on...should be pretty funny. U wanna see it? Watch the CMT Awards tomorrow night!" Sounds awesome.
