The Vampire Diaries S2 Ep.15 Recap: The Dinner Party
http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! Wetpaint Recap: http://www.wetpaint.com/the-vampire-diaries/articles/recap-of-the-vampire-diaries-season-2-episode-15-the-dinner-party Does the phrase "third times a charm" still hold true when you're talking about killing one of the originals on The Vampire Diaries? We've got your episode recap right now! Hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis for ClevverTV with the highlights from "The Dinner Party" that went down on last night's episode of The Vampire Diaries. With Elijah on the prowl on Mystic Falls, it seems as though anything is possible -- and this particular show definitely depicted that fact. Our friends over at Wetpaint.com have all the action marked down in 10 specific points -- so you've got to check that out. But in the meantime, we're gonna point out the action that really stood out to us here at ClevverTV. Before we get to the Elijah drama -- we've gotta dish on the hottest new hook up on the show -- Bonnie and Jeremy, who attempt to have a semi-romantic night together before Dr. Martin swoops. Not only does he ruin their little sudo-date. He also sucks out all of Bonnie's magical powers, as well, which he says is or her own good. But on a bummer note, Jenna breaks up with Ric because she knows he's hiding something -- which in our opinion he's doing just to protect her. And I have to admit, it was kinda cute to see how jealous Ric was when Jenna was hanging out with Elijah. ON that note, let's talk Elijah. Damon and Stefan already tried to kill him once, and during the course of this episode, Damon plans to use his dinner party as an opportunity to use the info from John to really kill Elijah once and for all. Thankfully Stefan and Elena learn that if a vampire tries to kill an original, he or she will die also. Instead, Alaric takes on the responsibility, shoving the dagger into Elijah and removing it. All seems well in the world, until Elena and Stefan learn that the dagger must remain in the original if they are to stay dead. This is when things get really out of control. Elijah heads out on the hunt for Elena, who is still at the lake house with Stefan. And yet again, Elena saves the day, threatening to kill herself if Elijah hurts any of her loved ones. When he doesn't believe her, she stabs herself and he then rushes to her aid, and guess what, she turns on him and stabs him. PS: this time they leave the dagger in Elijah. So is he really going to stay dead this time? That we're not sure of. Other moments that stuck out in this episode included: a very in-depth look at Stefan's very dark past, Johns failed attempt to kill Damon, and oh yeah, did we mention that Katherine is out of the tomb. Well, yes, she is. As a side note, the werewolves were nowhere to be seen this week, and Damon said that chapter of their lives is over. Or is it? NO one really knows what could happen on TVD. We're just anxiously awaiting the debut of good old Klaus. What about you guys? For the full-on top ten from last night's episode, head over to wetpaint.com -- we'll have the specific link here for you guys in our story info. Stefan Back in Mystic Falls -- 'The Vampire Diaries' Recap
http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! ClevverTV has the run-down on the high drama that went down on the Vampire Diaries last night. I'm your fellow-fan Joslyn Davis with hot high lights. First up -- let's talk about Jeremy's love situation -- I would call it a love triangle but at this point it's looking more like a square. His actual girlfriend Bonnie returns to town, just in time for him to really start reconnecting with his dead vampire ex-girlfriend Anna. And get this guys, the only reason that Anna can even become visible to Jeremy is because he's thinking about her -- so every time Jeremy thinks about her, she pops up -- and yes she does pop up a bunch when Jeremy is supposed to be totally into his girlfriend Bonnie and thinking about her. Odd. Towards the end of the episode, Jeremy gets aggressive, and totally closes Anna out -- super sad moment. Stefan's drama is heating up and after a series of developments with the necklace he's keeping a secret, and a really close call, guess who saves the day? Oh yeah, Katherine. Don't get us wrong, we're glad she saved Stefan, but we all know she's not to be trusted. Stefan refuses to let her in on his plan, but he does tell her that he's going to start searching for the vampire hunter that Klaus is running from. So who does Katherine decide to team up with instead -- ah yes, Damon. Damon's still bummed out that more than one person has told him to simmer down. We think he's particularly upset when Alaric gets all older-brother protective about Damon's budding relationship with Elena. So long story short, Damon is planning to become Katherine's new partner in crime, while Stefan gets caught in his plan to foil Klaus's take-over and guess what happens then...Klaus takes Stefan right into the heart of the drama -- Mystic Falls. And it looks like a ton of insanity is going to go down next week, and Stefan might have to feed on Elena -- but will he be able to stop before he kills her? Well, that's the question. Now we want the answer from you guys. Hit the comments section to fill us in on what you thought of this episode and also help us predict what's going to go down next! Since their inception in 2001, Boston's Letterday haven't tried to refine, rework, or re-imagine the possibilities of "pop-rock," "pop-punk," or any other pop-related, guitar-driven, hyper-hyphenated genre that has been applied to their music from the start. Rather, they've simply tried to stay true to what they've valued most: writing and performing good songs with unmatched earnestness and enthusiasm.

All five members spent their formative years worshiping bands like The Get Up Kids, Saves The Day, and Jimmy Eat World. The group cut its collective teeth on ten years' worth of hardcore shows in VFW halls. When you listen to Letterday's most recent release,"Ready," the pop sensibilities of their idols resonate. The Phoenix's Michael Marotta described "Ready," as a "driven, radio-fit, power-pop coaster." And when the band performs the songs live, their no-frills take-no-prisoners upbringing is unmistakable. Three guitars is going to make any band loud as hell, but these boys play like their hair is on fire.

When no one was watching, Letterday was a great group of friends who were unafraid to make music that was sincere and unabashedly catchy. They didn't write or play the way that they did to fall into line or generate a following, but because it's what they loved to do. They weren't trying to become some gigantic band, but rather the type of band they would themselves be a fan of: a band with integrity as they have defined it. To this day, Letterday retains the qualities that have sustained them so far with the hope that maybe one person out of any given crowd will connect with something in what they do, the way they connected with their own favorite songs, albums, and bands. And if the recent string of favorable press is any indication of what this band has on its hands with "Ready," it looks like Letterday might be gaining more than just one fan at a time from here on out.

If you're anything like me, last night's episode the Vampire Diaries probably left you sitting on your couch, asking yourself "Um, what just happened?" Lucky for you guys, I watched it about 5 more times and now I have your highlights. With only one episode left in season three, we're guessing that last night's showing "Before Sunset" was meant to build the tension and drama leading up to the finale, which for the record it most definitely did. Ok, so right out of the gate, I have to say that this ep was most definitely one of the most insane yet. We saw Klaus and the Salvatores team up against Alaric, who was trying to kill Caroline, or actually he was trying to get Elena to kill her. Since no vampire is strong enough to kill Alaric solo-style, they call upon Bonnie and her estranged bad-news mom. They decide on a spell that will stop Alaric's heart -- but Bonnie has to stop a human heart to maintain balance. OF course she chooses Jeremy, since he has the superpower ring to save him. Klaus, Damon and Stefan drink Bonnie's blood so that when she does the spell, whoever is pierced will have their heart stopped and since they're all linked together it will work. So, during brief altercation between Alaric and the others, Elena figures out that since Alaric is tied to her through her blood, if she dies, he dies. So what does she do? Oh, no worries, she just straight up slits her own throat! I mean, what the heck was she thinking. So when Klaus realizes the dilemma here, he steals Elena and decides to drain out all of her blood and kill her first, then Alaric will die too. Apparently, he's finally over building that whole hybrid army thing. Just as Elena is basically about to be drained of all of her blood, Tyler saves the day, and of course things get complicated when Klaus enters and attacks him, figuring out that he has broken his sire bond. Damon and Stefan entered just in the nick of time -- and Stefan pierced Klaus' heart and this is when things got seriously weird -- time slowed down as Bonnie worked her magic and the unthinkable happened. Klaus fell victim to the spell meant for Alaric. This is where things just got super weird because I'm guessing most of you thought, "no way, is Klaus finally really dead? This is too good to be true." So here's the deal, Klaus isn't dead, he's just desiccated which is almost the same thing except the rest of the vampires in his line don't have to die too. Damon and Stefan decide to drive off and drop his body in the Atlantic while Elena and her friends have a victory party -- basically the first semi-normal thing they've done in ages. While driving to drop off Klaus' body, the brother decide that once Elena makes her decision and picks one of them -- the other will leave to let them be happy. So it seems as though all is good in the world until Elena passes out at the end of the episode and then there's the that whole thing -- ya know Alaric -- he's still alive and telling the whole council about every living vampire. So next week is going to be complete insanity and we can't wait. Here's my question for you all -- have we really seen the last of Klaus. Hey Little Monsters, it's been another action packed week for Lady Gaga while on her world tour, complete with an animated alter-ego, and angering fans in Thailand over a harmless tweet. This is What's Up With Gaga? Welcome back to ClevverMusic. Mother Monster started off the week by sending off 'The Simpsons' finale in style with an original song called 'Lisa Simpson Superstar'. Complete with 20 outfit changes, Gaga'a animated self performed on the show to help Lisa Simpson get her groove back after she is voted least popular in school. Of course, Gaga and Lisa sing together and Mother Monster saves the day!

Next, Lady Gaga addressed the controversy rumors regarding her Indonesia show that was said to be cancelled due to a denied permit in Jakarta. Gaga took to Twitter to explain, "The Jakarta situation is 2-fold: Indonesian authorities demand I censor the show & religious extremist separately, are threatening violence." She continued in a separate tweet, "If the show does go on as scheduled, I will perform the BTWBall alone." So Gaga revealed there is a chance the show will still go on AND if it does, she will perform solo. Her producers are reportedly trying to work it out so that she doesn't disappoint her Indonesian Monsters.

Finally, Lady Gaga ended the week by angering her Thai fans via a tweet she sent out to her 24 million followers on Twitter. Gaga wrote, "I just landed in Bangkok baby! Ready for 50,000 screaming Thai monsters. I wanna get lost in a lady market and buy fake rolex." The tweet sparked an uproar in Thailand where fans are calling it offensive and bad for the country's image. We think Gaga was just excited about being in Thailand, and that some took it the wrong way.

And that's another week in the life of a Mother Monster! Did you think her Thai fans took the rolex tweet the wrong way? Let me know down in the comments. Don't forget to subscribe to ClevverMusic for more Gaga news! See you next time.
