WEve got the real superbowl faceoff! Hey everyone thanks so much for tuning into clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier with a recap on the trailers that hit the airwaves superbowl Sunday!
.
The Super Bowl may have been all about the battle between Giants and the Patriots, but to us at clevver movies, it was all about the battle of the trailers! Trailers for John Carter, The Avengers, Battleship and Act of Valor were several of the many movie clips that played during Super Bowl XLVI so we have to know, which was your fav?!
.

A teaser for the trailer for Joss Whedon's The Avengers was one of the many that were released a few days before the game. The full trailer opens with the torn-up streets of the city, and Samuel Jackson's Nick Fury's voice-over saying, "The world has changed." The trailer also shows the briefest glimpses of the mysterious alien villains that are rumored to be the focus of the film.
.
John Carter's latest trailer also debuted during the Super Bowl after a trailer last week. It featured Led Zepplin's "Kashmir" and, instead of just one image at a time, dozens of images for the film are embedded in the words "John Carter."
.
Speaking of John Carter, Taylor Kitsch, who stars in the flick, was also featured in the trailer for Battleship. The new clip focuses heavily on the alien invasion in Peter Berg's unique take on the popular childhood game.
.
A trailer for Act of Valor, which features real Navy SEALS, was emotional, and teased Relativity's upcoming release of the film.
.
We also saw A trailer for Sacha Baron Cohen's The Dictator, which had been released earlier, also premiered, along with a trailer for Dr. Seuss' The Lorax.
.
SO which was your favorite superbowl spot? You guys can click the link in this video to see all the trailers and Let us know by commenting below and be sure to keep it locked right here on clevver movies, your number one source for movie news!

The Dictator will walk the carpet! Hey everyone thanks so much for tuning into clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier with the latest on Sacha Baron Cohen and his OSCAR red carpet look!
.
While most actors will be hitting the red carpet in couture, Sacha Baron Cohen has a plan of his own----according to the Hollywood reporter, Cohen is planning to attend the academy awards this Sunday dressed as his character, the disctator.
.
Now we are all about our facorite acotrs getting in character, and this normally wouldn't be a problem, except the dictator is a sex-crazed Gaddafi-meets-Hussein ruler who fights to stop democracy from coming to his country...kinda controversial?
.
While some may support this freedom of expression others are worried it will make a mockery of the regal event...but I have to know, what are your thoughts? Do you want Cohen to go all out for the Oscars, or would you rather wait until may 11th to see the dictator in action when it comes to the big screen? Let us know in the comment section below and while your at it, click that subscribe button! Thanks so much for watching, we will see u next time!

The Dictator responds to THE ACADEMY! Whats up guys, im Tatiana carrier with an update from one of our all time favorites, Sacha Baron Cohen.

We recently reported that Cohen was planning to show up to the Oscars in his DICTATOR get up, and seince then, the academy has TAKEN BACK HIS TICKETS!!!! CAN THEY EVEN DO THAT?!

But not to worry folks, the dictator didn't take this slap in the face laying down...he stood right up and sent a stern message to the academy. Warning them all that if he is not re-invited, very very bad things would happen. The video is actually amazing and I couldn't agree more with the dictator...the academy needs to relax! Whats wrong with a geehad walking the carpet?

Following the release of the video, Cohen made a call into the Today Show as General Aladeen to further discuss his ban from the Oscars saying he has to delay 30 executions to make an appearance on the show and that one of the unimaginable acts that may occur if he is not admitted to the Oscars is oil prices may rise. I think that one's happening with or without The Dictator's appearance at this Sunday's Oscars.

If you haven't seen the video, click the link in our descrioption to watch it, you can see the full response on our blog as well...THEN, you can come back here and THANK ME.

Now I am wondering, will billy crystal show up dressed as General aladeen? I think it's a must. let us know in the comment section below what you guys think of this dictator madness and be sure toclick that subscribe button! Thaks so much for watching we will see you enxt time!

Hey everyone, I'm Tatiana Carrier with news on one of the most talked about moment of last night's Oscars. You may have loved host Billy Crystal's opening video with a liplocking cameo from George Clooney or been enthralled by the acrobatics of Cirque du Soleil or brought to tears by one of the many inspirational speeches, but the most talked about moment of the night didn't happen at the ceremony, but outside the Kodak theater on the red carpet.
.
As we previously reported, actor Sacha Baron Cohen had begun a feud with the Academy and was banned from attending when word got out that he would be hitting the red carpet dressed as his character "General Aladeen" from his upcoming film 'The Dictator'. The Academy eventually relented and Cohen later tweeted simply "Victory" with a photo of himself in full General Aladeen garb holding a pair of Oscar tickets in one hand and a gold gun in the other.
.
Yesterday, the moment many fans had been waiting for and the Academy had been dreading finally arrived as Cohen hit the red carpet dressed as The Dictator, flanked by two female guards, reminiscent of Gaddafi's former bodyguards and holding a jar of ashes with a photo of former North Korean dictator Kim Jong-il on it.
.
The moment was one to talk about all in itself, but we all know Cohen couldn't just leave it at that. The funnyman decided to save his biggest moment for Ryan Seacrest. While talking with the E! host, Cohen "accidentally" dropped the jar all over Seacrest, leaving him positively covered in Kim Jong-il. Giving the question, "who are you wearing" a whole new meaning. Cohen was instantly pulled away into the crowd by a pair of large men with earpieces. I guess you can come dressed as a fake dictator, but the Academy draws the line at messing with Seacrest.
.
If you haven't seen the video, just hit the link in the description. So we have to ask, do you think Cohen's appearance on the red carpet was hilarious or much ado about nothing. Let us know in the comment section and don't forget to follow us on Twitter @ClevverMovies for the latest movie news.
