Hey everyone! Thanks for checking back with clevver movies, Im Tatiana carrier and ive got your review round up on THE CHANGE UP! The flick stars ryan Reynolds and Jason bateman and centers around two long time friends who live completely different lives who one day switch bodies and get to experience life from others perspective. The critics have seen the flick and the votes are in, so lets see what they had to say so you can decide whether or not youll be checking out this switcheroo style comedy when it hits the theatres this weekend! Kurt Honeycutt from the Hollywood reporter wasn't a huge fan. He said, "The Change-Up bravely attempts to revive the dormant subgenre but it's a lame effort that grows increasingly frantic and foul-mouthed as the realization sets in that the gimmick isn't working." James Berardinelli from REEL VIEWS said, "It all seems a little tired and, more importantly, not as funny as it should be."... And one more review, that I am sad to saw, was not raving came from The associated press...Kristy LAmire said, "[It's] all over the place in tone, veering awkwardly from some daring comic moments to feel-good sappiness and back again in hopes of redeeming some semblance of edginess." Ok, so its clear the critics weren't feeling THE CHANGE UP, but if you have seen it, let us know YOUR take, after all, you are our favorite critic! Also make sure you subscribe to clevver movies for all your review roundups! Thanks for hanging out, see you soon!

The Change-Up hits theaters on August 5th, 2011. Cast: Ryan Reynolds, Jason Bateman, Olivia Wilde, Leslie Mann Growing up together, Mitch (Reynolds) and Dave (Bateman) were inseparable best friends, but as the years have passed they've slowly drifted apart. To Mitch, Dave has it all: beautiful wife Jamie (Leslie Mann), kids who adore him and a high-paying job at a prestigious law firm. To Dave, living Mitch's stress free life without obligation or consequence would be a dream come true. Following a drunken night out together, Mitch and Dave's worlds are turned upside down when they wake up in each other's bodies and proceed to freak the hell out. Despite the freedom from their normal routines and habits, the guys soon discover that each other's lives are nowhere near as rosy as they once seemed. Further complicating matters are Dave's sexy legal associate, Sabrina (Olivia Wilde), and Mitch's estranged father (Alan Arkin). With time not on their side, Mitch and Dave comically struggle to avoid completely destroying each other's lives before they can find a way to get their old ones back. The movie stars Mitchel Musso, Sam Lerner and Spencer Locke. In 4th place is The Shining. If you've seen this movie, you definitely experienced a Jack Nicholson Nightmare in your day. Coming in 3rd place is paranormal activity. This film is the reason I still sleep with a nightlight and refuse to go into basements...or move to the burbs...or have babies for that matter. The flick is about a couple, who After moving into a suburban home, become increasingly disturbed by a nightly demonic presence. While its not an Oscar winning film by any stretch, the flick is down right creepy! Coming in 2nd is The Amityville Horror. Green Lantern starring ryan Reynolds is about A test pilot who is granted a mystical green ring that bestows him with otherworldly powers, as well as membership into an intergalactic squadron tasked with keeping peace within the universe. It wasn't a huge hit at the box office, but anything comic book inspired should atleast be given a chance! 'Justice League' Movie Headed To Theaters In 2015?
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Hey guys thanks for checking back with us at clevver movies, im Tatiana carrier with the latest on the Justice League. Now as you guys already have heard, Warner Bros. wants a Justice League movie and WB Studio President Jeff Robinov has said so himself, and stated a 2013 release date. However, it appears there has been some recent discussion at Warner Bros. in regards to the direction of the movie...so heres the scoop! According to Cosmic Book News, Plans are being put together for Justice League movie for either a 2015 or 2016 release....DC Entertainment will be spearheading the film, and it will be distributed by Warner Bros. and Legendary Pictures. Also, Geoff Johns, DC Comics Chief Creative Officer and Co-Producer on theGreen Lantern movie, will be on the Justice League movie as an Executive Producer, and will be doing the initial treatment for the film before a writer is brought on to pen the screenplay....David Goyer (screenwriter on Man of Steel) is said to be the initial favorite for the screenplay. ALSO,They want Christopher Nolan and wife, Emma Thomas, to be involved in the film in some capacity, most likely as producers. ANDDDD Don't expect Christian Bale as Batman; it will be a new actor in the role. However, Henry Cavill and Ryan Reynolds could appear as their respective characters, Superman and Green Lantern -- but that fact is just too early to tell. And Lastly, Warner Bros. is said to want to release a second Superman movie and possibly even a second Green Lantern film before Justice League arrives in theaters. The Superman sequel would most likely be a standalone movie with no ties to Justice League, but Green Lantern's sequel could bring in aspects of the Justice League universe to become a bridge into the ensemble film. For the full story and panel video click here http://bit.ly/xxj5rJ http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Hey everyone thanks so much for tuning back into clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier with the latest on DEADPOOL! . So as you guys know, we previously reported that Ryan Reynolds announced back in August that 'Deadpool' was most likely his next project after 'R.I.P.D.' which is scheduled to hit theaters June 28th, 2013 . Now it sounds like things are actually moving forward on the live-action Deadpool movie set up over at Fox. Last week at Amazing Arizona Comic Con, Rob Liefeld andScott Lobdell had a few some pretty cool information on the movie, like the fact that director Tim Miller has shot some test footage for the movie. . Heres a DIRECT and exciting quote from the weekend. . "They've got a great director on the movie, they've got a great script. I may or may have not seen some sort of test of footage that would blow your mind if you saw it and go holy crap and that's Deadpool in costume. Katana swords, guns, shooting people's faces off and making me laugh. And I may or may not have seen something that looks just like that. And you've got what would amount to the first R Rated X-Men movie. Because that script is R Rated." . This will be Miller's first feature film as he comes from a special effects background and hopefully we will have a look at this test footage in the near future! . So what do you guys think? Deadpool and Wolverine Movie Details
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! DEADPOOL WOLVERIENE I'm calling it right now, Deadpool and Wolverine summer of 2013. . Hey movie buffs, Tatiana Carrier here for Clevver movies. Now I know we talked earlier this week about Ryan Reynolds still being a part of the one day Deadpool movie. Well, fans...rejoice. Deadpool is officially moving into production this year, and Reynolds is still attached along with Tim Miller to direct. If this be the case, and filming scheduled for April, then I think it's safe to expect a summer release for next year. . Now there is talk about this movie being rated R, and I noticed in the comments that most of you feel that this movie would ONLY work if it's rated R. I thought that was pretty interesting. We have seen Deadpool in forms of media that weren't mature rated and his character still worked in that atmosphere. For example, his personality comes to life in Marvel vs Capcom 3, both of THQ's Ultimate Alliance games, and 2010's Spiderman Shattered Dimensions. All of which he was an amazing character and HILARIOUS. In fact, I'm sure these games helped boost his popularity to where it's at today. But at the same time, Marvel isn't afraid to make a good R rated franchise. Or have we already forgotten the Punisher and The Blade movies? . But the good news doesn't stop here, The Wolverine is looking to start production this year as well. This is another Wolverine spin-off where we follow Logan to Japan for one of his most famous story arcs. This, in fact, is the story that Hugh Jackman WANTED to do when he first signed on to do Wolverine spin-off movies. You may even remember this being teased as one of the two post credit scenes at the end of X-Men Origins: Wolverine. . I know that we have some HUGE superhero movies coming out this year, but with this news, I'm REALLY excited for Marvel's line up in 2013. How excited are you guys about this? Which one are you looking forward to most? Let us know in the coments below and don't forget to subscribe to stay up to date on all the biggest movie news. You can also find some cool extra's by liking our fan page at facebook.com/clevvermovies. I'm Tatiana Carrier and you're watching Clevver Movies! GOODBYE!!
