3 'Glee' Cast Members To Leave After Season 3
http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! All good things must come to an end, and that's the sentiment right now on ClevverTV. Hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis in Hollywood. As if the news that Chord Overstreet would not be returning to Glee full time next season was not enough, we're just learning that Lea Michele, Cory Monteith and Chris Colfer will not be appearing on the Fox hit show at all following the upcoming season, season 3. Ryan Murphy, the creator of the show explained to the Hollywood Reporter that "you can keep them on the show for six years and people will criticize you for not being realistic or you can be really true to life and say when they started the show they were clearly sophomores and they should graduate at the end of their senior year." Ryan added that Cory, Lea and Chris' characters will definitely spend a lot of quality time planning for their post-high school futures, so we're guessing that there will be closure on their stories at the very least. Fans are devastated over this news, likely prompting Lea Michele's recent tweet in which she said: "To Gleeks everywhere, you're in my heart now and forever. Love u all!!! This is just the beginning!! We always knew we'd graduate in real time. It's all part of the plan and it's all good! It's going to make Season 3 amazing!!!" So guys, at the very least we do have to hand to the show-runners for giving fans ample time to prepare to say goodbye to some of Glee's biggest standouts. We'd love to get your thoughts on saying goodbye to Rachel, Finn and Kurt -- are completely shocked, or are you happy the show will be taking a realistic route? Let us know right here and stay with us on ClevverTV for non-stop Glee updates and recaps by subbing our channel on YouTube. I'm Joslyn Davis, see you next time!
Real Fate of 'Glee' Season 3 At Comic Con
http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! Glee took over Comic Con in San Diego and we've got the full run-down right now on ClevverTV. Hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis and our crew just returned from the super-hero lined streets of SD to bring you the latest in TV news. The entire convention went out with a bang thanks to Fox's hit show Glee. Over the past several weeks, news surrounding the departure of key actors Cory Monteith, Lea Michele and Chris Colfer, has taken the entire entertainment world by storm. And just when Gleeks were starting to accept this devastating news, Ryan Murphy says "hey, just kidding!!!" Well, not exactly, but at the Glee panel, Ryan said about Glee's trifecta, that "they're seniors. They're graduating. But [just] because they're graduating doesn't mean they're leaving the show." Then in the biggest shocker of all, Ryan went on to say that "If you have Lea Michele under contract you don't say 'We're gonna let you go.' It was never our plan or our intention to let them go. They ARE NOT DONE with the show after this season." Say what???? This is a big surprise, but a great surprise nonetheless. And while it's amazing that these three will be back in some capacity come season 4, we learned that Chord Overstreet will not be returning. He was invited back for a portion of the season "to see if being a regular was a possibility, but he declined the offer," which Glee executive producers were "very disappointed by." According to some reports, Chord might be working on a solo music release, and thanks to some super cute pictures we also can confirm that he's got a lovely lady we love in his life -- Emma Roberts. The pair were spotted holding hands on the beach in Malibu over the weekend. Other notable Glee news from Comic Con includes the fact that we'll get to meet Mike Change -- aka Harry Shum Jr.'s parents. So lots of big surprises from the Glee crew at comic con. What do you guys think about all of this scoop? Let us know by hitting the comments section and if you want more stories like this one, make sure you've subscribed to our channel on YouTube! I'm Joslyn Davis, thanks for watching ClevverTV and we'll see you next time!
The Latest On 'Glee' Spinoff
http://Facebook.com/ClevverTV - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverTV - Follow Us! More Glee news today on ClevverTV -- Hi all, I'm Joslyn Davis with more scoop on the future of New Directions and it's killer line-up. New surrounding Glee has been all over the place over the past several weeks, with fans believing that several of the cast members would be leaving the show, only to learn that that would not be the case at all. Some insiders and fans guessed that if some of the cast left Glee, they might possibly go on to star in a Glee-based spinoff, especially considering the fact that this idea was something Ryan Murphy had discussed in the past. However, now Ryan is going on the record with Deadline to take a few steps back. HE said, and I quote: "I said, yes, they are graduating and they will not be back on the show for Season Four. And when I did that interview, what was happening was we were asked to investigate doing a spin-off and it was a spin-off specifically for three of them, Chris, Cory and Lea. In March, Brad Falchuk and I started talking to all three of those actors about it because you can't make people do spin-offs." The new show would follow the trio as they move to New York to possibly attend Julliard. But don't get too excited about this idea just yet. Ryan went on to tell Deadline that "Maybe [they'll] talk about it in April or May, but for now [they'll] just concentrate on making Season 3 the best that [they] can do." Ryan also added this tidbit of info saying quote: "When I say they're seniors and they're not coming back to the show, what I did not say is they're not coming back to the show because there will be another show." Interesting right? So it sounds like Rachel, Finn and Kurt would've been graduating, they would've still remained in the TV world, just on another show. But for now, as Ryan Murphy said, they're just focusing in on Season 3. SO what do you guys think about a possible Glee Spinoff?
