The Ides of march is about An idealistic staffer for a newbie presidential candidate, played by ryan gosling who gets a crash course on dirty politics during his stint on the campaign trail. . Deborah Young from Hollywood Reporter Classy and professional throughout, the technical work gracefully holds all the threads together. Christy Lemire from Associated Press Gosling radiates charisma, schmoozing and charming reporters and staffers with equal ease. But beneath that slick exterior, his character is a true believer. Anthony Lane from the new Yorker, had something interesting to say, he said, This film is full of great actors, but not enough people. Drive gets sued...by a movie goer...Hey guys, Im tatiana carrier and Ive got the latest on a lawsuit between a disgruntled movie goer, and Ryan Goslings, DRIVE. Weve just learned that Drive is being sued...and not by an actor, studio employee, or writer...but by a MOVIE GOER. Sarah Deming from michigan is suing the distributor of the critically acclaimed Ryan Gosling thriller Drive-- as well as the cinema where she saw it -- claiming it was publicised as a Fast and Furious style action piece but turned out to be nothing of the sort. In her suit, which was filed at the sixth judicial circuit court in Oakland, Michigan, Deming says the Nicolas Winding Refn film "bore very little similarity to a chase, or race action film ... having very little driving in the motion picture". So what is Deming tried to accomplish here? Well she hopes to turn her appeal into a class action suit, which would allow cinemagoers across the US to sue on similar grounds if they found themselves watching films on the basis of a misleading trailer. Im sorry but I think this is effing ridiculous...This will never pass and she clearly has way too much time on her hands. I mean, I get her point...I left sex and the city 2 on the verge of mental breakdown bc of how disappointed I was...but SUING??? Come on Sarah...start scrap booking or something. Hey everyone, hope you had a safe and movie filled weekend! Im Tatiana carrier and ive got the results from the box office! Dreamworks and Disneys Real Steel came in first throughout the weekend with 27.3 million dollars at the box office. This Shawn Levy-directed bot battle starring Hugh Jackman received a rare 'A' CinemaScore overall and 'A+' from moviegoers under age 25. The pic is based on the 1956 short story "Steel" by Richard Matheson, which is Set in the near future, where robot boxing is a top sport. In the flick, a struggling promoter feels he's found a champion in a discarded robot. During his hopeful rise to the top, he discovers he has an 11-year-old son who wants to know his father. Sonys The Ides Of March came in second with 10.4 million throughout the weekend. "The acting is absolutely tremendous. You coudn't take your eyes off any one of these actors," Sony president of worlwide distribution Rory Bruer said. Ides of March, costing a modest $12.5 million to produce, drew a B CinemaScore overall and a B+ from moviegoers under the age of 18. Cold Creek Pictures fully financed the pic, with Sony distributing. The flick stars goerge Clooney and ryan gosling. Coming in third place is our relentless dolphin in the dolphin tale. The flick made 9.1 throughtout the weekend with a cume of 49 million. The story centered on the friendship between a boy and a dolphin whose tail was lost in a crab trap stars morgan freedman, Ashley judd and harry connick jr. Coming in 4th place is brad pitt and Jonah hills money ball. The baseball movie took in 7.5 through the weekend for a total of 49.2 million at the box office so far. And finally in 5th is 50/50 starring joseph Gordon levitt and seth rogan. The flick brought in 5.5 million throughtout the weekend for a cume of 17.3 million dollars. Crazy Stupid Love is about A father's life unravels while he deals with a marital crisis and tries to manage his relationship with his children. The movie will make you laugh, cry, and wish you had ryan goslings abs...orrrr wish you were emma stone who got to touch them...definitely a fun watch for everyone. Water for Elephants, my favorite of the bunch stars an actress I never get tired of watching reese witherspoon...not to mention a certain vampire is the lead opposite reese...the flick is about A veterinary student who abandons his studies after his parents are killed and joins a traveling circus as their vet....a romance brews, and trouble follows...definitely a must see. And finally the family flick of the bunch, Cars 2 is about a Star race car Lightning McQueen and his pal Mater who head overseas to compete in the World Grand Prix race. Coming in a 5 on our countdown is, He's Just Not That Into You. This movie was made after the top selling book made waves in the lives of girls everywhere...the main message being, well, hes just not that into you! The flick takes the same storyline with an allstar cast of Ben Affleck, Jennifer Aniston, Jennifer Connelly, Ginnifer Goodwin, Scarlett Johansson, Bradley Cooper, Kevin Connelly, and Justin long! . In 4th place is The Holiday. The flick follows two women troubled with guy-problems swap homes in each other's countries, where they each meet a local guy and fall in love. The flick stars Kate Winslet, Cameron Diaz, Jack black and Jude Law! . Third place goes to Crazy, Stupid Love. This flick is about A middle-aged husband's life that changes dramatically when his wife asks him for a divorce. He seeks to rediscover his manhood with the help of a new-found friend Jacob, learning to pick up girls at bars. The flick stars a few of my favs, steve corral, ryan gosling, emma stone, and julianne moore ... simply seeing steve corral trying to pick up chicks while gosling coaches him through it all is totally worth the watch!..and lets be real, I'm not mad at ryan goslings abs either . And in second place is one of my favorites, Love Actually. Love actually Follows the lives of eight very different couples in dealing with their love lives in various loosely and interrelated tales all set during a frantic month before Christmas in London, England. . Valentine's Day comes in 1st! This seriously packed all star cast includes are you ready???? Jessica Alba , Kathy Bates, Jessica Biel, Bradley Cooper, Eric Dane, Patrick Dempsey, Jaime Foxx, Jennifer Garner, Topher Grace, Anne Hathaway, Ashton Kutcher, Queen Latifah, Taylor LAutner, George Lopez, Shirley Maclaine, emma Roberts, Julia Roberts, Jewel, Taylor Swift and as if that wasn't enough...MORGAN FREEMAN as the narrator! The flick centers around the Intertwining of couples and singles in Los Angeles...from their makes ups to break ups all based on the crazy expectations of Valentine's Day. This comes in at number one not only because it took me 45 minutes to list out the ensemble cast, but because this flick inspired New Years Eve which is created by the same folks behind valentines day!
