Details coming right up! Hey guys, Tatiana Diana here for clevver movies with the latest on Man of Steel! According to the Hollywood Reporter, Russel Crowe is currently in negotiations to play the Kryptonian father of superman in Man of Steel! The last character to land this coveted role was Marlon Brando back in 1978...Brando scored a whopping 16 million for his short, 15 minute part...and that was back in the 70's!!! If Russel Crowe takes the part, we aren't sure how large his role OR paycheck will be, but you KNOW we will keep you up to date as we get more details. So far, Man of Steel already has a pretty solid cast list including Kevin Costner who will play Jonaten Kent, the human father of superman, and Henry Cavill who will play Superman . Christopher Nolan known for The Dark Knight, will be producing the flick, and Zach Snyder will direct. Man of Steel is set to begin production in late summer or early fall of this year in Vancouver. Now with the warrior releaseing this week, I thought we would dedicate our top 5 Tuesday to top 5 boxing movies, now before you say it, I KNOW warrior is MMA, but there weren't too many of those out there so boxing will have to do! OK, coming in 5th place is Cinderella man starring Russell crowe & renee zillwiger. Cinderalla man released in 2005 is The story of James Braddock, a supposedly washed up boxer who came back to become a champion and an inspiration in the 1930s. In 4th place is ALI! Will smith is a legend and he went big willy style in ali, making this our almost first place holder. In Ali, Will smith portrays mohammad ali, the boxing legend and he did the man justice...the acting was incredible and the story line was even better... In 3rd place, we have a lady leading the bunch! Million Dollar Baby starring Hilary Swank is about A hardened trainer/manager who works with a determined woman in her attempt to establish herself as a boxer. This movie really made me fall in love with swank as an actress... In a close race for first, coming in 2nd is Martin Scorsese's RAGING BULL starring Robert dinero which is about An emotionally self-destructive boxer's journey through life... as the violence and temper that leads him to the top in the ring, destroys his life outside it. And coming in first place is... THE RROCKY FRANCHISE. I mean, did you rea`lly think it would be anything else? Sylvester stallone made this franchise a classic and made the rocky anthem a household favorite. If you haven't seen any of these movies, put on a pair of boxing gloves, punch yourself in the face, then rent buy or download it immediately. SO now that you've heard our list, share with us yours! Hey guys, thanks for joining us again on clevver movies, Im Tatiana carrier and Ive got your top 5 Tuesday. This week we decided to go with the top five sword fighting movies in honor of the three musketeers which releases this week! Coming in 5th place is the Gladiator. The gladiator stars Russell Crowe, Joaquin Phoenix and Connie Nielsen and is about a Roman general who is betrayed and his family murdered by an emperor's corrupt son...he then comes to Rome as a gladiator to seek revenge and REVENGE is exactly what he gets. IN 4th place is 300...300 is about King Leonidas played by Gerard Butler and a force of 300 men who fight the Persians at Thermopylae in 480 B.C. Its gritty, intense and definitely a sword fight worth checking out! In 3rd place is one I might get some slack for...the princess bride. I kow what your thinking, with so many bad ass movies out there, why this one? Well, this flick may be one for the ladies, but there are definiglty some action packed sword sequences in there worthy of a place on our countdown! Pirates of the Caribbean come in 2nd place...if you're a pirates fan, you definitely would agree that any one of the pirates flicks are packed with intense, sit on the edge of your seat battles. The franchise stars Johnny Deppp and the franchise has 4 flicks in the Billion dollar club...making it an easy choice for our countdown And our number one pick for best sword fights go to the star wars franchise. I thnk this one goes without saying...the battles are epic and the franchise is iconic...whichever fight you choose, from whichever star wars flick was your favorite, in our hearts is number one!
