Details coming right up! Hey guys, Tatiana Diana here for clevver movies with the latest on Man of Steel! According to the Hollywood Reporter, Russel Crowe is currently in negotiations to play the Kryptonian father of superman in Man of Steel! The last character to land this coveted role was Marlon Brando back in 1978...Brando scored a whopping 16 million for his short, 15 minute part...and that was back in the 70's!!! If Russel Crowe takes the part, we aren't sure how large his role OR paycheck will be, but you KNOW we will keep you up to date as we get more details. So far, Man of Steel already has a pretty solid cast list including Kevin Costner who will play Jonaten Kent, the human father of superman, and Henry Cavill who will play Superman . Christopher Nolan known for The Dark Knight, will be producing the flick, and Zach Snyder will direct. Man of Steel is set to begin production in late summer or early fall of this year in Vancouver. Anne hathway joins the cast of les mis! Hey guys, Im Tatiana carrier and ive got the details on the latest addition to the les mis cast, anne Hathaway, According to our friends at indie wire, anne hathawy has officially joined the all star cast of tom hoopers les miserable. As we previously reported, Huigh Jackman is on board to play the lead, jean valjean and russel crowe will play inspector jalvert. This role was not an easy one to land...lots of other leading ladies were fighting for the female lead incuding amy adams, Rebecca hall,lucy hale and emma Watson...but in the end, Hathaway got the part! Perhaps the fact that Jackman wanted her to get the lead after working with her on the Oscars helped? The film is already getting potential Oscar buzz and wont even release until December 7, 2012! Here's a look at what's coming from them in 2012. . Hey guys, you're tuned in to ClevverMovies, your source for all things movie news. I'm Tatiana Carrier, and we've got the breakdown on the newest films to be released by Universal this year. Since it is their 100th anniversary, we'll expect that all their new movies will be bigger and badder than ever before. Here's a look. First up is Contraband, coming out this Friday. Mark Whalberg leads this fast-paced thriller as a man trying to leave the smuggling world behind with one last run. Big Miracle stars Drew Barrymore and John Krasinski in the true story of whale lovers joined by rival world forces to save a family of gray whales trapped in the Arctic. Look for this film Feb. 3. On Feb. 10, Denzel Washington returns to the screen in Safe House as a dangerous renegade from the CIA, joined by rookie operative Ryan Reynolds as they try to stay alive long enough to uncover who wants them dead. Dr. Suess' The Lorax is brought to life in 3D-CGI Mar. 2, featuring the voices of Danny DeVito, Ed Helms, and Taylor Swift. American Pie returns in American Reunion on Apr. 6. The characters we all love are back for their high school reunion. Jason Segel and Judd Apatow reunite for The Five-Year Engagement, a story of love that picks up where most rom-coms leave off, in which Segel and Emily Blunt's engagement keeps getting tripped up on the way to the aisle. This film is due out Apr. 27 Alexander Skarsgard, Rhianna, and Liam Neeson star in Battleship, an epic battle for Earth across the seas, land, and skies. Based on the classic board game, this film hits theaters May 18. On June 1, Kristen Stewart and Charlize Theron star in Snow White and the Huntsman, based on the classic fairy tale with the twist that Snow White is trained in the art of war. Chris Hemsworth co-stars. Seth MacFarlane hits the big screen for the first time July 13th as the writer, director, and voice star of Ted, Mark Whalberg's favorite childhood teddy bear who won't leave his side. The Bourne Legacy continues the world of Robert Ludlum's novels with a new operative played by Jeremy Renner, due out Aug. 3. Rachel Weisz and Edward Norton co-star. Oct. 7 brings us Paul Rudd and Jennifer Aniston in Wanderlust, a comedy about a couple who leave the big city and join a freewheeling community populated by characters who embrace a different way of looking at life. Sept. 28 you can check out Taylor Kitsch and Aaron Johnson in Savages, the story of two pot growers who face off against the Mexican drug cartel who kidnapped their shared girlfriend, played by Blake Lively. The film also stars Benicio del Toro, Salma Hayeck, and John Travolta. Keanu Reeves leads a band of outcast samurai in a quest to seek vengeance on the overlord who killed their master and banished their kind in 47 Ronin, an epic 3D adventure due out on Nov. 21 Les Miserables, the successful stage musical based on Victor Hugo's classic novel is at long last brought to the screen on Dec. 7. Hugh Jackman, Russell Crowe, Anne Hathaway, and Amanda Seyfried star. On Dec. 21, Judd Apatow spins off the characters of Pete and Debbie from Knocked Up, looking at how they are dealing with their life in This Is 40. Paul Rudd, Leslie Mann, Melissa McCarthy, and Albert Brooks star. Pitch Perfect is a comedy starring Anna Kendrick as a college freshman who doesn't fit into any clique until she finds one that she would never have picked: a cappella. This flick doesn't have a release date set yet, but be sure to keep your eye out in the coming year. Russel Crowe stars in The Man With The Iron Fists as a man who makes weapons for a small village which must defend itself in feudal China. Lucy Liu and Pam Grier co-star. Hey guys thanks so much for watching clevver movies, im your host Tatiana carrier with an update from that man of steel! . WEve just learned that Jack Foley has been cast as a young Pete Ross. According to superman homepage, Foley will be joining Jadin Gould as Lana Lang, and Dylan Sprayberry as Clark Kent, as they play teenagers in Superman's early years. . Its also very possible that Pete Ross may make an appearance in the reported bus crash scene but no confirmation just yet! You know as we get more deets we will be sure to keep you posted! . Man Of Steel stars Henry Cavill as the Man of Steel, Diane Lane as Martha "Ma" Kent, KevinCostner as Jonathan "Pa" Kent, Amy Adams as Lois Lane, Michael Shannon asZod, and Russel Crowe as Jor-El and flies into theaters June 14th, 2013 and is directed by Zack Snyder. . Man of Steel is set to be much edgier than the franchise's previous films and we've got first hand details from one of the film's stars.

We all cannot WAIT for Man of Steel to hit the big screen next year, and one guy who couldn't be more excited about his role in the film, Dylan SPrayberry chatted with our very own clevvertv about his part in the blockbuster.

Dylan will be playing the young version of star Henry Cavill's clark kent and the star shared some info on taking on such an iconic role saying, "It was really great. I didn't even really notice how big it was until I finished shooting. It was so overwhelming that it was crazy, I was like "I can't believe I just did all that." In the moment, I was really focused on the work and the acting.

When he was asked what poepole would love about man of steel he said, "When Zack [Snyder] and I were talking about it the first time, he was saying how Superman, they want to give it a more edgy feel like The Dark Knight but also make it more realistic and emotional so it's not just the all-american superhero that saves everyone. He has dilemmas and love and struggles throughout the whole movie, especially when he's a kid."

With 'The Dark Knight' director Christopher Nolan taking on a producer role in 'Man of Steel', we think taking a cue from that series is just what the Superman franchise needs. What about you though?
