X-Men: First Class could be the sleeper hit of the summer. Why the critics are saying it'll be a stand out at the box office next. Hey moviegoers, Amanda Janner here for Clevver Movies in Hollywood. Theaters are flooded with comic book titles this summer, including Thor, Green Lantern and Captain America. But critics are buzzing about X-Men: First Class, saying it could be the X factor at the summer box office. Many overlooked the film since it's without stars Hugh Jackman, Halle Berry and Ian McKellen. What it does have is a fresh new cast, featuring James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne, January Jones, Jennifer Lawrence and Kevin Bacon. The film just opened, and by late Thursday, the reviews were in. And so far, so good, with critics echoing praise of Fox reviving a tired franchise. Wall Street Journal film critic Joe Morgenstern says the prequel, "draws new energy from supersmart casting" and is a "zestfully radical departure from the latter spawn of a sputtering franchise." The New York Times said the "X-Men film series has bounced back to life with its fifth installment, rescued with a straight injection of pop." Also a factor to consider is that First Class is not in 3D, making ticket prices more affordable -- if you call what you're local cinema charges these days to see a feature film affordable. Proving that 2D beats 3D at the box office, the 2D showings for both Kung Fu Panda 2 and Pirates of the Caribbean: On Stranger Tides had stronger openings than the 3D versions. Hey Guys! Dana Ward here stepping in for Tatiana Carrier for ClevverMovies. Now we just received some news about one of the biggest superhero franchises in town, X-men. Earning over 350 million dollars since its release, there's no surprise that X-men: First Class is set to get a sequel. As of yet, there is no confirmation on the cast or director, but we're hoping to see our faves James McAvoy, Michael Fassbender, Rose Byrne and January Jones reprise their roles. In fact the only person confirmed is the writer, Simon Kinberg, and this guy definitely knows his stuff. He produced the first film and wrote X-men: The Last Stand. And his other works include Mr. and Mrs. Smith and Sherlock Holmes, among many others. We don't really know where the X-men films could go next, but if one person could take on this project and make it a success, it's definitely Kinberg. What do you guys think? Insidious sequal coming our way! Hey evyerone thanks so much for checking back with clevver movies, im Tatiana carrier with clevver movies with the latest on Insidious, the sequel.

Acording to the Hollywood reporter, original creative team, director James Wan and writer Leigh Whannell, are in talks to return for the sequel to one of the scariest flicks of last year, Insiduous. Jason Blum will be back as producer.

For those of you who didn't see the first movie, it starred Patrick Wilson and Rose Byrne as a couple who at first think their house is haunted but come to the realization it's one of their sons who is possessed. The first movie ended with Wilson being possessed after a journey to a realm of the dead...so perhaps we hang out with his scary ass for part duex?
.
Whatever the reason, we don't blame them for making another insidious...The original was released in April and made almost $100 million worldwide on a budget of only $1.5 million.

As of now, it is unclear whether the sequel will continue the story or whether the lead actors will return. But we will keep you posted as we get more deets...the sequel is scheduled to go into production this year for a 2013 release.

X-Men: First Class Sequel to Revolve Around Magneto!!! Hey everyone thaks for checking back with us at clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier with the latest on xmen first class, the sequel.

Accorcing to our pals at MTV, Magneto is to take CENTER STAGE in the sequel!

Recently Simon Kinberg who is writing/producing the sequel was out promoting his other flick THIS MEANS WAR, and gave MTV some deets about the sequel we are all so excited about.
.
First he hinted that there will be a lot more Magneto, who as you guys know is played by Michael Fassbender...he said, "I'm a huge X-Men fan. I grew up loving the comic books and it was really exciting to be able to do the origin story of Xavier and Magneto, and getting those two actors, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, were really amazing. So being able to explore those characters with actors of that quality will be exciting a second time around, and doing some things unexpected with those characters, which is the plan."

As you guys know, Magneto becomes the villain of the franchise, but apparently hes a much more complicated character as a youngin, and that's what they want to focus on! And lets be honest, Michael fassbender is an excellent actor, so if theres a person to lead the xmen film, we trust him to do a fine job!
