Glee S2 Ep.12 Preview: Silly Love Songs

Find out how your favorite Glee club members are coupling up and sharing kisses. Stay tuned. Welcome back to your ultimate Glee news source. I'm Joslyn Davis coming to you guys from our Hollywood headquarters with scoop on the show's big "Silly Love Songs" Valentine's Day episode. The show will be coming back to its normal time on Tuesdays just in time for the love-filled holiday in which Mr. Shue will assign the group to sing love songs to another person, and yes, hearts will be broken. Artie and Mike will kick it off with my personal all-time favorite song "PYT" by Michael Jackson, Blaine and the Warblers will woo with Robin THicke's "When I Get You Alone," as well as "Silly Love Songs" from Wings. Good old Rachel Berry will bring us Katy Perry's new anthem "Firework," and Puck's gonna rock it to Queen's classic "Fat Bottomed Girls." Also, it looks like Finn is going to be getting some action from the ladies all around -- the teaser out now shows him getting kissed by Santana and Quinn. That's one lucky guy. I just got back from hanging backstage at the AMAs where there was nonstop action. one of the highlights was getting to talk to some of the winners of the night in the press room. Mary J Blige talked about how she remains such a relevant artist in the ever-changing industry. She also talked about her new album coming soon. Maroon 5 stopped backstage after winning the first award of the night for fave group or duo. Presenter Robin Thicke revealed the real inspiration behind his new music. He also mentioned his new album coming soon. Speaking of new albums, new artist of the year Hot Chelle Rae are gearing up for a release next week. Fan favorites and Winners of favorite country band/duo/group Lady Antebellum talked about... Presenter Gavin Degraw talked briefly about what he has planned for the coming months And YouTube sensations Karmin picked up the new media award of the night. Amy and Nick dished about their upcoming album and who they'd like to collab with. And that's the AMA wrap-up straight from backstage guys. But we're actually excited about this one because it stars Kelly Clarkson, the original gangster when it comes to these types of shows. Kelly will join Robin Thicke, Lionel Richie and Jennifer Nettles on the new show Duets, in which they'll travel across the country to find the perfect duet partners.
Kelly said in a statement "The simple fact that I get to go out and find two people I believe in, sing with them every week and help them accomplish their dream is an amazing thing I can't wait to be a part of." The show will also reportedly help mold these aspiring singers into whatever THEY want to do with their career. The winner of the competition will score a recording contract with Hollywood Records.
