Transformers 2 Movie News Hello film junkies-I'm Joslyn in Bev Hills and you're watching ClevverTV. The rumors about the second installment of the hit movie Transformers are being confirmed. So if you are trying to avoid any spoilers, you should probably stop watching right now. Screenwriter Roberto Orci is giving up a few more details on "Transformers: Revenge of the Fallen," including confirmation on a rumor from last fall about a new kind of transformer making its debut in the upcoming sequel. When asked about whether or not we'd see Ravage in the film, he stated that there will definetely be a Pretender and that storywise we can expect more outrageous humor. He understands that some diehard fans will be annoyed with certain aspects of the film, but overall he thinks they'll be gratified by the films attempt to preserve the mythology of the Transformers. We will be seeing the return of fan favorites Optimus and Bumblebee in Transformers 2. Also in discussion is whether or not Sideswipe will make an appearance in the flick. Images of a new toy version were recently leaked but we do not yet know if this means we will see the character in the movie. Im Tatiana carrier with the latest from Star Trek, the sequel. . Well, its official! According to our friends at Variety, J.J. Abrams has tapped veteran thesp Peter Weller for the ensemble cast of Paramount's upcoming "Star Trek" sequel. We still don't have the specifics on Wellers role, but we do know that his choice came after he chose a character, Alice Eve, who we think is a newbie to the bunch. . As we have previously reported, the main cast roster is made up of stars from the previous installment including chris pine, Zachary quinto, and just added, Benicio del Toro as villain! . Abrams is directing from a script by Alex Kurtzman, Roberto Orci and Damon Lindelof. Production is expected to start in early 2012 with Paramount planning to release the highly anticipated film on May 17, 2013. . Star Trek set Photos revealed! Hey guys thanks so much for watching clevver movies I'm your host Tatiana carrier with a first look at some star trek action!

So as you guys know there were reports that no cast members from the old Star Trek franchise would be appearing in director J.J. Abrams's upcoming sequel Star Trek 2. HOWEVER, New images from the set have are pointing to this report being false!
.
Both Leonard Nimoy and Zachary Quinto were spotted in their respective Spock outfits in the photos that Producer Roberto Orci tweeted direct from the deck of the Starship Enterprise, on a sound stage at Paramount Studio....he also included a photo of a Star Fleet janitor (actually one of the producers on the first movie), along with a pic of J.J. Abrams and Roberto Orci doing on-set rewrites. There's also a good photo of the entire cast...and remember, you guys can see all the photos on the blog (just check the link in description).

Star Trek 2 comes to theaters May 17th, 2013 and stars Zoe Saldana, Chris Pine, Zachary Quinto, Benedict Cumberbatch, Anton Yelchin, Simon Pegg, Karl Urban, John Cho.

Weve got more news coming from the amazing spiderman...and this is something you WONT want to miss!

Just yesterday we announced that Alex Kurtzman and Roberto orci have joined on to write the screenplay for the amazing spiderman 2, and now we have official confirmation on when we will get a peak at theat trailer for the amazing spiderman!!! As if the day May 4th couldn't get any more exciting with the release of the avengers, the much anticipated trailer for the amazing spiderman will be attached to the super hero ensemble flick!

Marc Webb confirmed on Attack of the Show that a new trailer for The Amazing Spider-Man will be joining the previously announced trailer for The Dark Knight Rises before screenings ofMarvel's The Avengers, beginning Friday, May 4th. According to Webb, the trailer will likely arrive online first, sometime next Thursday...I mean, next week might be the most exciting week yet....until july 20th ofcourse.

The Amazing Spider-Man is set for release on July 3rd and stars Andrew Garfield, Emma Stone, Rhys Ifans, and Denis Leary.

Finally let's move to the Jovenshire's cool thing of the week portion of the show! Normally I lead you to an online video, but this time I need to plug some DC comics. We've had too much marvel here. So I highly recommend the Night of the Owls story arc that's going on right now. Scott Snyder started it in the Batman comic series and now it's taken over the entire bat family in one epic crossover spanning over 9 different comics. So you got batman, nightwing, Batgirl, hell, even Red hood is jumping in there. It's epic and definitely worth picking up.

Tom Cruise To Star In 'Van Helsing' Reboot and we have the details!

According to comingsoon.net, Universal Pictures announced the studio has signed a two-year first-look production deal with Star Trek and Transformers writers Alex Kurtzman and Roberto Orci that will kick off with new versions of Van Helsing and The Mummy. And the star none other than Tom Cruise...he is not only set to star in van helsing, but he is also producing! Van Helsing was last seen I 2004 with Hugh Jackman in the title role. Interestingly, Van Helsing and The Mummy were both projects from writer/director Stephen Sommers.

A statement from Kurtzman and ORci -

"We're thrilled to call Universal Pictures our home...From the moment we sat down with Adam, Donna, Peter, Jeff and the entire Uni team, there was an instant flow of inspired ideas. They really understand the importance of building a strong creative team and giving our shared projects their full support. We're proud to start making movies that will live as part of Universal's enduring legacy."

Other projects coming from this dynamic duo include writing Sony's The Amazing Spider-Man sequel; producing Now You See Me, for Lionsgate Summit, set for release in March 2013; and producing Orson Scott Card's Ender's Game, also for Lionsgate Summit.
