Hey guys, thanks for checking back with us at clevver movies, I'm Tatiana carrier with the golden globe news that's got Hollywood buzzin! . After weeks of rumors, an official announcement has been made that Ricky Gervais will be back to host the Golden Globes for a third year. NBC, which broadcasts the ceremony, pushed heavily for Gervais to have another stint on the show, but many of the association's members opposed his return. . Why you may ask? A year ago, the British comedian who hosted the awards poked fun at major stars such as Bruce Willis and Robert Downey Jr. and the non-profit organization behind the awards show. ..which doesn't seem soooooooo bad but he also implied that the organization, which has been criticized for having lax voting standards, accepted bribes in return for nominations. . After the show, Gervais said he did not plan on returning. However, he must have changed his mind because after the Hollywood Foreign Press Association voted for the controversial British comedian's return after meeting with NBC official Doug Vaughn, Gervais accepted. . It doesn't appear that all of the members are ready to welcome back the comic with open arms. The vote was apparently divided, with the organization admitting in a statement that "...not everyone is happy with the decision." . So why all the hostility? Well, member Judy Solomon wasn't shy about epressing her exact feelings on the matter, she said, "Those are people who are our guests. You invite a guest, you don't insult them...Ratings are fine, but I wouldn't want to jeopardize the integrity of the assocation for things like that." . So what do you guys think? I personally cant wait to see Ricky back on stage and think that people need to seriously calm the (#&%#(% down! The insider says fans can expect Gloria's character to appear on the same episode as Ricky's in January. I'm Joslyn Davis at ClevverTV headquarters with great news for fans of ABC Family's hit show "The Secret Life of the American Teenager." The show has officially been renewed for a record 5th season! The drama first gained recognition for its depiction of the realities of teen pregnancy and all that entails. The fourth season is set to start airing on March 26th and viewers are looking forward to seeing what will happen with Amy and Ricky's engagement. So will there be a wedding or not? Well, for that we'll just have to wait and see, but what we do know is that there's likely to be a ton of great drama. A fifth season for Secret Life marks a milestone for the network, as no other show has ever gone over 100 episodes. And with a talented actress like Golden Globe nominee Shailene Woodley taking the lead on this one, we're guessing that fans and show-makers are hoping for a seaons 6. But before we get too far ahead of ourselves let us know if you think Amy and Ricky will actually make it to the alter and get married -- weigh in by hitting the comments section below.
