Police Not Ruling Out Suicide in Amy Winehouse's Death

Hello there, I'm Bridget Daly, your host for ClevverMusic. There's so much speculation over Amy's death, especially with the inconclusive results of her autopsy. But now rumors are swirling that her untimely death could have been a suicide. In fact, according to the London police, they're not ruling it out at this point. As many already knew, Amy had been struggling with drug and alcohol addiction for many years, and had recently been forced to cancel a tour after after being booed off a stage in Serbia. Not only that, but some sources are suggesting her relationship with Reg Traviss wasn't going well, and that they may have even broken up. When giving a statement this week, Traviss never alluded to the fact that anything was wrong with his and Amy's relationship, and had even said Amy was in high spirits right before her death, and had been looking forward to a friend's wedding. He told press, "We have suffered a terrible untimely loss and want peace now. I can't describe what I am going through. He also went on to deny that Amy had been in a drug-feuled haze at the time of her death, referring to it as a terrible accident. But Amy's own family believes she was killed by either a heart attack or a fatal seizure, not drugs. Stay tuned for more updates on this tragic story as they come in. Anderson Cooper has booked some high profile people for the first episode of his talk show airing this month. According to reports, Amy Winehouse's family and boyfriend will be his first guests on the new show. Mitch and Janis Winehouse, along with Reg Traviss will sit down with Anderson for their first interview since Amy was found dead in her apartment in July. They will reportedly talk about her death, as well as her life and career. Cooper told the Hollywood Reporter, "I've followed her career for a long time. Her music is extraordinary. And she's such a remarkable talent. What's remarkable about this family is they've been so public before her death about trying to get her help. "We want it to be a look at what happened to her and the struggles that she was facing and the struggles that the family was facing in trying to get [her] help and her incredible talent and career. Anderson added that he's so happy the family agreed to talk with him about the difficult subject matter.
