DO THEY KNOW IT'S HALLOWE'EN
BOO! This fall's (2005) sweetest ? and scariest ? benefit song is DO THEY KNOW IT'S HALLOWE'EN. This single features a star-studded ensemble (Beck, Sum 41, The Arcade Fire) known as the NORTH AMERICAN HALLOWEEN PREVENTION INITIATIVE. Both a trick and a treat, this song is a satire - as well as a charity-benefit song with all proceeds being donated to UNICEF.

FRESHJIVE RESURGENT VIDEO
Introducing the release of the Resurgent Series. The 4 t shirts are a re-working of the first 4 t shirts I ever did. I first came up with these graphics for an agit prop assignment when I was still in art school.

Between 89 and 92, we used to do promotional videos. My good friend, Frank Sacramento, who was getting into video direction at the time (Delasoul, House of Pain, Dru Hill, Sir Mix A lot, Freestyle Fellowship, The Roots, Mobb Deep, Blondie, Brand Nubian, Everlast, Funkdoobiest, Redd Kross, The Breeders, etc.), used to film them for us. We would get the whole posse of Angelinos up in the vids, including friends from the music side of things (The Pharcyde, House of Pain guys, N'Dea Davenport of the Brand New Heavies, Proper Grounds), get some beer, some weed, and be retarded in front of the camera.

In reference to our OLD VIDEO, we've put out this NEW VIDEO, including 2 of my OG friends, Ben Gruenberg and Sandman, who appear in the first videos, and who are still alive and kickin'. And thanks to my boys at Delicious Vinyl for lending us the track. More to come!
Johnny Tremaine (Steve Mac Donald) deadly bad trip
Taken from 1984 David Markey's super-8 filmed infamous movie"DESPERATE TEENAGE LOVEDOLLS" , where the Lovedolls get even with Johhny Tremaine by putting LSD in his drink... Pretty hilarious shitte, and a neat Hendrix's "Purple Haze" instrumental cover by Redd Kross too!
Desperate Teenage Lovedolls
Desperate chronicles the rise and fall of Bunny, Kitty, and Patch, three teenage runaways who form an all-girl rock group, The Lovedolls. Their rise to fame from a nowhere, drug-filled street life, is overnight thanks to the sleazy manager, Johnny Tremaine. The Dolls unfortunately cross paths with the bad-ass all girl gang the She Devils, lead by the super-cool Tanya Hearst, who do their best to curdle the Lovedolls rockin reign. Co-starring Jeff McDonald, Jordan Schwartz, & Dez Cadena, with a classic soundtrack by Redd Kross, Black Flag, & the Nip Drivers.
History Lesson Part 1: Punk Rock In Los Angeles In 1984
Classic raw punk footage from 1984 Los Angeles, plus interviews.
In 1984, a teenage Dave Travis decided to capture punk rock in Los Angeles on video tape, a fascination and hobby that he would continue until 1997, logging in hundreds of hours of Los Angeles area shows and interviews. In "A History Lesson Part 1, Travis presents live footage filmed in the spring of 1984 featuring the Meat Puppets, Minutemen, Twisted Roots and Redd Kross interspersed with interviews of members from each group which examines and puts a perspective on the early years of "psychedelic" punk rock in Los Angeles and Phoenix, AZ. Each song by each group is presented from start to finish. Rare interviews with Mike Watt (Minutemen), Jeff and Steve McDonald (Redd Kross), Cris and Curt Kirkwood (Meat Puppets), Paul Roessler (Screamers, Twisted Roots, DC3) and Hellin (Killer) Roessler.

Lovedolls Superstar: Fully Realized
We Got Power Films presents David Markey's 2004 directors cut "Lovedolls Superstar Fully Realized". The Lovedolls return from their untimely demise in this 1986 sequel to "Desperate Teenage Lovedolls". Patch Kelley (Janet Housden) becomes Patch Christ, the leader of an acid-damaged religious cult who rescues has been Kitty Karryall from a boozy, wasted life. Once reunited, they recruit Sunset Boulevard hooker Alexandria "Cheetah" Axethrasher to replace the recently murdered Bunny Tremelo (Hilary Rubens). With major rocking by Redd Kross, Sonic Youth, Meat Puppets, Dead Kennedys, & more! You can't kill a Lovedoll, babe... because Superstars never die!
THE MEGADUDES

BALCONYTV LONDON 27/02/2010
PRESENTED BY LAYLA ANNA -LEE
Rising from the flames of musical hot-beds Hayes and West Drayton, The Megadudes soar above the mundane like a mighty phoenix, brushing non-believers aside with their fiery wings.

Coming together after the untimely and sorrowful demise of chart toppers 'Hitechjet'* and radio favourites 'Fletch'**, the Megadudes blend the raw brutality of pop with the visceral ferociousness of indie, creating a genre no one dared think was possible: indie pop. Picture the scene, Show World era Redd Kross doing a lovely little dance in a forest while Weezer look on and laugh wistfully. Then imagine Frankie Valli and the Four Seasons peering out from behind some trees, looking all sinister and possibly masturbating. That, my friend, is the sound of the Megadudes. So join Chris, Kyle, Micky and Adam on their magical adventure and maybe....one day, you can be a Megadude too.

Director:

The video for OFF!'s "Upside Down" has come to make your weekend awesome. The band is the new project from Keith Morris (Black Flag, Circle Jerks), Dimitri Coates (Burning Brides), Steven Shane McDonald (Redd Kross) and Mario Rubalcaba (Rocket From The Crypt, Hot Snakes). The video itself is for "Upside Down" and unlike most music videos, is a live recording and performance. The Slave skate team is who you see shredding the mini in the background and Raymond Pettibon is the man responsible for the sick artwork on the back wall. Viewing this video makes you wish you were there.
