La 36ème cérémonie des César a enfin récompensé, pour la première fois vendredi, l'acteur Michael Lonsdale, alias Frère Luc dans le film de Xavier Beauvois "Des Hommes et des Dieux".
"Ah petit coquin, tu en as mis du temps!" a souri l'acteur, qui aura 80 ans en mai, en recevant sa récompense sous les ovations du Théâtre du Châtelet. "Mais mieux vaut tard que jamais", a-t-il aussitôt ajouté sous les applaudissements.

"Des Hommes et des Dieux" a été cité dans onze catégories différentes dont celles de meilleur film et meilleur réalisateur.

I'm Dana Ward and we're breaking down all of the nominations for the 2010 Oscars. Even with the Academy doubling the Best Picture nods - apparently in an attempt to catch a younger viewing audience - most of the included films fall into the expected category. Avatar, An Education, The Hurt Locker, The Blind Side, Inglorious Basterds, Precious, A Serious Man, Up, Up in the Air and District 9. Five of those movies got Best Director nominations for James Cameron, Kathryn Bigelow, Quentin Tarantino, Lee Daniels and Jason Reitman. In the Best Leading Actor category, Jeff Bridges, George Clooney, Colin Firth, Morgan Freeman and Jeremy Renner with Best Leading Actress going to Sandra Bullock, Hellen Mirren, Carey Mulligan, Gabourey Sidibe and Meryl Streep. The Animated Feature Film nominations include Coraline, Fantastic Mr. Fox, The Princess and the Frog, The Secret of Kells and Up. Best Cinematography had a nod for Harry Potter in there, Star Trek got a Best Makeup nomination and Sherlock Holmes got included in the Music - Original Score breakdown. This year's hosts include funny guys Alec Baldwin and Steve Martin, so it's expected to be quite the performance for the show March 7th on ABC. Leo will play a "not so nice" plantation owner named Monsieur Calvin Candy. Sources tell us Leo's character doesn't make his evil entrance until mid way through the film, but when he finally makes his debut, he takes over the silver screen. Other stars in talks for the Tarantino film include Oscar winner Christoph Waltz and Sameul Jackson. Jamie Foxx are also a topic of convo as they may be filling the role Will Smith was meant to play. Hey guys, thanks for tuning into clevver movies, Im Tatiana carrier and Ive got the latest on Django Unchained. Now weve been keeping you guys up to date on all the star studded casting couch news from Quinten Tarintinos Djando Unchained and it seems like every day a new a lister is added to the bunch. Today however, we have to sadly report that ken Costner who was going to play Ace Woody, the mandingo trainer that serves as Calvin Candies right hand man will no longer be in the flick. For months now we thought cosner was a done deal and without a doubt going to be a part of this spaghetti western, but due to scheduling conflicts, this is no longer the case. Another a lister that passéd on tarintinos flick was will smith who was going to play django, and since then Jaime Foxx has taken that role. I don't know about you, but I think both cosner and smith will be kicking themselves for passing because I think this movie is going to be huge. So far Django Unchained stars Leonardo Dicaprio, Jaime Foxx, Samuel L Jackson, Christoph Waltz and Kerry Washington. The film will release Dec 25th 2012.
