Weve got photos of Joseph Gordon Levitt in Looper. The upcoming sci-fi film features The Dark Knight Rises star plays a young version of Bruce Willis' character and we're getting a first look at his transformation into Willis' doppelganger that took hours in the makeup chair to achieve.

The synopsis of the flick is as follows, "In the September 28 release, time travel will be invented -- but it will be illegal and only available on the black market. When the mob wants to get rid of someone, they will send their target 30 years into the past, where a "looper" -- a hired gun, like Joe played by Joseph Gordon-Levitt -- is waiting to mop up. Joe is getting rich and life is good... until the day the mob decides to "close the loop," sending back Joe's future self played by Bruce Willis for assassination.

Looper hits the big screen sept 28 2012. Emily Blunt, Paul Dano, Noah Segan, Piper Perabo and Jeff Daniels co-star with Joseph Gordon Levitt.
