http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Hey there hobbit fans! Tatiana Carrier with the latest on Hobbit star, Elijah Wood and A recent chat he had about the highly anticipated flick! Now that production has started on Peter Jackson's highly anticipated "Lord of the Rings" prequels, star Elijah Wood is gave our friends at E some details on The Hobbit! . When speaking about the two upcoming flicks, The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey," and "The Hobbit: There and Back Again," he said, quote, "They're gonna be big....The audience is huge. The anticipation for 'The Hobbit' has been so massive for so long." . Well we knew they were going to be big without him telling us, but exactly HOW big is the question...The last three "Lord of the Rings" movies grossed almost $3 billion worldwide, but Elijah shared that he doesn't see those as any sort of competeion...he said, "I don't even know if they're meaning to outdo them." . Also, as you guys know, Wood's character Frodo Baggins is the star of the lord of the rings trilogy, and has controversially been added to the "Hobbit" prequels, as has Cate Blanchett's character Galadriel, and Orlando Bloom's elf Legolas....Elijah went on to explain how the "LOTR" characters can appear in Jackson's "Hobbit" movies when they weren't in J.R.R. Tolkien's book....he said, QUOTE: "The idea is that there are things actually happening historically at the same time the story of 'The Hobbit' is taking place, they just weren't written in 'The Hobbit...They were written in appendices and external pieces...that's kind of where a lot of that is coming from." . He went on to reassure the audiences that it WORKS despite speculation, he said, "It's going to feel like a nice transitional piece....I'm excited about it. I can't wait." . "The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey" will open December 14, 2012. "The Hobbit: There and Back Again" will follow on December 13, 2013. Hi guys, thanks for checking back with us at clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier with the details on the tin tin sequel! . While talking to Collider during the 'Tintin' press gauntlet, producer Kathleen kennedy gave a tentative timetable for the next film, which Peter Jackson is still tapped to helm. She said, "Oh yeah it is being moved forward, in fact Steven and I were talking about it this morning. We're working on a script right now, we'll see a script probably February or March...If we can do some camera capture this summer, which I think we could do, then we would be on track to have the movie either Christmas 2014 or summer 2015, and so that's what we're looking at right now." . If you're like us, your probably wondering how in the world Peter Jackson is going to find the time to film a sequel in addition to his TWO hobbit flicks! Well, it may be more realistic than we can imagine...Since Spielberg admitted earlier that the 'Tintin' movie was essentially 85% traditional animation and 15% live action elements, it would probably only take a few weeks to "film" the new movie before being shipped off for completion over the next few years. SO IT ISSSS POSSIBLE! . 'Tintin,' opens December 21st, so we are looking forward to see how ppl take to the flick! Do you guys plan on checking out the first tin tin this holiday season? If so, let us know by commenting below! Thanks for watching and see you guys soon!

'The Hobbit' Trailer Breakdown
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! 0:08 - Some wondered how characters from 'The Lord of the Rings', like Elijah Wood's Frodo Baggins would be included in 'The Hobbit' since they do not appear in the film. That question is answered quickly as it appears the story will be told to Frodo by old Bilbo Baggins (Ian Holm) that we've come to know from the original films. Will characters like Orlando Bloom's "Legolas" be seen the same way or will they be seen as younger versions of themselves in the actual Hobbit story? 0:22 - Martin Freeman left the set of 'The Hobbit' in New Zealand during filming in order to return to his role as "Doctor Watson" in the BBC show 'Sherlock'. This hiatus gave Peter Jackson and his crew time to begin the editing process of the two films. (this could go anywhere, just put it here since it's the first time we see him) 0:35 - 'The Hobbit' was one of the first times dwarves were not treated as evil creatures in literature. Author J.R.R. Tolkien gave them honorable and sometimes comedic qualities in order to endear them to the reader. 0:49 - Author J.R.R. Tolkien used song in 'The Hobbit' often to give exposition to the story and enact a sense of mood. This song, "Far Over the Misty Mountains Cold" tells the history of the dwarves. 1:24 - There are many scenes connecting 'The Hobbit' to 'The Lord of the Rings', including this scene with Bilbo looking at the broken Narsil sword, which is reminiscent of Frodo discovering the same sword in 'The Lord of the Rings'. 01:29 - Cate Blanchett returns as "Galadriel". Gandalf is absent from much of the book version of 'The Hobbit', but his journey with the White Council will undoubtedly facor heavily in the two-part film. 1:41 - Another moment of nostalgia for 'The Lord of the Rings' fans as Bilbo unsheaths "Sting", the sword that he will one day pass on to Frodo. 1:58 - The dwarves battle a group of trolls, one of their first major battles in the book. 2:11 - The moment Bilbo finds the ring that plays so heavily in 'The Lord of the Rings' trilogy. 2:23 - The moment fans have all been waiting for, the return of Andy Serkis as "Gollum". In addition to reprising his role of "Gollum", Andy Serkis served as 2nd Unit Director on the films.
The Hobbit - A Closer Look With Peter Jackson
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Peter Jackson talks the Hobbit! hey guys, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im your host tatiana carrier with the latest on the highly anticipated HOBBIT! . In the latest issue of Total film, director Peter jackson shares that The Hobbit and unexpeted journey had some UNEXPECTED challenges! . he said, "The Hobbit is very much a children's book and The Lord of the Rings is something else; it's not really aimed at children at all. I realized the characters of the dwarves are the difference. Their energy and disdain of anything politically correct brings a new kind of spirit to it. And that's why I thought, OK, this could be fun!" . He also went on to speak about the challenges of making sure each of the 13 dwarfs had their own distinct characteristics....he said, "That was something I worried about. I imagined 13 guys with long hair and beards and I thought, 'How are we ever going to know which dwarf is which? It's an ensemble from hell really. I thought nine members of the Fellowship was a problem; but here, with Bilbo and Gandalf, we've got 15. It's working out fine though. The dwarves give it a kind of childish, comedic quality that gives us a very different tone from The Lord of the Rings." . And chiming in to the interview was his better half and writing parnter, Fran walsh...she added that the 2nd hobbit movie will be primarily focused with what the article describes as "war, madness and dragon rage." She said "We always saw The Hobbit more in the golden light of a fairytale. It's more playful. But by the time you get to the end, Tolkien is writing himself into that place where he can begin that epic journey of writing LOTR, which took, as he put it, his life's blood. All those heavier, darker themes which are so prevalent in the later trilogy start to come into play." . The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey comes to theaters December 14th, 2012 and of course, part 2 follows on dec 13th 2013! So for those of you who have read the books, what do you think will be the most challenging in bringing the unexpected journey to the big screen? let us know by commenting below and be sure to keep it locked right here on clevver movies, your number one source for movie news!
'Star Trek 2' Casting Update
http://bit.ly/clevvermovies - Click to Subscribe! http://Facebook.com/ClevverMovies - Become a Fan! http://Twitter.com/ClevverMovies - Follow Us! Casting update from the trek! Hey guys thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im your host Tatiana carrier and ive got a casting update from JJ Abrams star trek sequel! . According to Deadline, British film actor Benedict Cumberbatch has been cast in a lead role in the film. No word yet on whether he'll be a hero or villain, but many in the industry are speculating that he will play the lead villain in the film. If this is true, rumors that the villain for the second installment of the reboot would be the infamous "Khan", originally played by Ricardo Montalban in the original series and 1982's Star Trek II: The Wrath of Khan, are most likely false, unless Abrams decides to take Khan in a much different direction this go round. Cumberbatch has gained recent attention playing the title role in the hit BBC series Sherlock and landed high-profile roles in Oscar potential films War Horse and Tinker Tailer Soldier Spy. He will next be seen, or at least heard, voicing the roles of Smaug the Dragon and The Necromancer in Peter Jackson's The Hobbit films. . Another actor to join the cast is Cumberbatch's fellow Brit, Noel Clarke, who you may know best from his role as "Mickey Smith" in that other popular BBC series, Doctor Who. Clarke will reportedly play a family man, with a wife and daughter. Not much to go on from that description, but let's hope he doesn't end up being a crewmember with a red shirt. We all know what happens to those guys. . Clarke and cumberbatch joins fellow Brit Alice Eve and Peter Weller in the film's cast, while Edgar Ramirez and Jordi Molla were, last we heard, fighting it out to replace Benicio Del Toro as the film's villain, who may or may not be Khan. With the addition of Cumberbatch to the cast, we'll have to wait and see if there's still a role to be had. . Either way we will find out soon enough as shooting is set to begin later this month! Star Trek 2 will release may 17 2013. . So what do you trekkies think of the latest additions?
Retrouvez Star People sur Facebook ( http://wizdeo.com/s/star-people ). 'The Hobbit' To Spawn Theater Revolution?

Ready to see Bilbo Baggins move at ludicrous speed? Slow down there, folks, it's not what you think. The Hobbit is spawning a theater revolution frame by frame, and ClevverMovies will catch you up to speed.

According to the Hollywood Reporter, Peter Jackson is seeking to improve how theaters project films by increasing the film projection speed to 48 frames per second. The standard has long been a projection speed of 24 frames per second, but with 3D at the height of popularity, an increased fps rate would improve the 3D movie-going experience by decreasing image jitters.

The news comes with the anticipated arrival of The Hobbit in December, the first motion picture to be filmed at 48 frames per second. But Jackson hopes the changes will occur sometime in the summer to release a trailer. Why not show the improved image as a teaser before the movie, right?

This will not be an easy task, however. Digital cinema theaters are not equipped for the updated technology, and many projector manufacturers are waiting to see how high studio and exhibitor demand will be.

We certainly hope they can work out the kinks in time. Do you think your opinion of The Hobbit will be affected by this new projection rate? Sound off your thoughts in the comments below, and keep it dialed to Clevver Movies. I'm Tatiana Carrier. Thanks so much for watching.
