I'm Dana Ward in Beverly Hills and we've got some fabulous GG news. It seems that Miss Hilary Duff will join the ranks on the oh-so-popular, Gossip Girl. According to reports, the singer-slash-actress will take-on a multi-episode arc as the character of Olivia Burke. This newbie can definitely rival the richie-rich lifestyle rocked by the solid cast, as Olivia is a movie star who's attending NYU as a freshman to experience a quote-unquote 'normal college life'. Duff's character will apparently be roomies with Vanessa (Jessica Szohr) and might even have some hot scenes with Dan, played by Penn Badgley, who doesn't even recognize that Oliva is a the celeb. As far as real-life Hilary goes, she's a self-described fan of the show, naming Chuck as her all-time favorite character. This 3rd season of Gossip Girl premieres September 14th... And sorry guys, but you'll just have to WAIT to get a glance at Duff in her new role, as she doesn't enter the scene until Episode 4. Here's the Q: Do you like Hilary as a Gossip Girl addition or is she just not in the popular group? What I'm wondering about - and kinda expecting a little bit - is a little singing duel between Hilary and newer-to-the-music-world Leighton Meester and Taylor Momsen. What do you think? Coming to you from our ClevverTV studio, I'm Dana Ward with a casting update for Breaking Dawn. A new character, that's Garrett, gets added into the mix. Remember that he's the witness for the Cullens when they face the Volturi. Garrett wants to learn more about the animal-drinking lifestyle, a choice that he thinks may strengthen the bond between vampires. He's described as tall with long sandy brown hair in a ponytail, and he doesn't seem to possess any special powers as compared to other vampires... As far as casting for this movie role goes, it's being said that there is already a frontrunner... and that is in the form of Lee Pace. This guy has been seen in the show Pushing Daisies as well as in the films A Single Man and When in Rome. What do you think about Lee in the role as Garrett? Nothing has been confirmed from Summit Entertainment or the actor's management, so who else might you imagine as this vampire character? Robert Pattinson Loses Jeff Buckley Role To Penn Badgley?

Welcome back to your ultimate entertainment news show, ClevverTV. I'm Joslyn Davis at our Hollywood studios with the story behind reports that Robert Pattinson lost a role to Gossip Girl star Penn Badgley. Well according to MTV.com and various other reports, Penn is "at the top of a short list" for the leading role in a Jeff Buckley Biopic that Robert was thought to have been in the running for, as well. Hollywood Life is also reporting that a source close to Penn says he "is thrilled" about the role and "thinks it's the film of a lifetime." This same unnamed source added that Robert is "really bummed" about not landing this job as "he was passionate about this project." Absolutely nothing has been confirmed in regards to this film or the casting of the leading man, so at this point anything could happen.
