Back of the origin of the desert is the decree of God. The desolating desert is not a distress to God, it is completely within His grasp, although not within ours. One characteristic of the desert is its fierce, cruel, unshielding light. ?"?The sun shall not smite thee by day. . . .?"? Another characteristic of the desert is its storms; these are never beneficial, they are of the sirocco order, blighting, fierce and pitiless. Jeremiah describes them?"?At that time shall it be said to this people and to Jerusalem, A dry wind of the high places in the wilderness toward the daughter of My people, not to fan, nor to cleanse?" (?Jeremiah 4:11?). The sun as seen in the desert is not a benediction, the storms are not beneficial storms; and night in the desert is a desperate thing. It is all very well to think of the night in our own land, but night in the desert is appalling. Little bits of the desert are fascinating, but the real thing is terrible?"?that great and terrible wilderness?" (?Deuteronomy 1:19?). The characteristics of the desert are the characteristics of God to a man when he tastes life as it is. Ibsen saw very clearly the desolating desert of life, i.e., the terrific penalty of sin, and he also saw God as He appears to a man awakened to the facts of existence. We are apt to say that Ibsen was pessimistic, but every man whose thinking has not been interfered with by his temperament is a pessimist. To think fair and square is not to see goodness and purity everywhere, but to see something that produces despair. When a man sees life as it really is there are only two alternatives?the Cross of Jesus Christ as something to accept, or suicide. We are shielded by a merciful density, by a curious temperament of hopefulness that keeps us blind to the desolating desert.

Cabin Fever the prequel is in the works! Hey! How's it going? I am Tatiana Carrier for ClevverMovies coming to you from our studios in Hollywood.
.We just got a heads up that comic book artist Kaare Andrews may be taking the title of director for 'Cabin Fever: Patient Zero'. Andrews is best known for working on Marvel Comics 'such as The Incredible Hulk, Ultimate X-men and Spider-Man: Reign. Patient Zero will tell the origin of the flesh-eating virus that was spread in the 2002 original film directed by Eli Roth. In the new film, the characters will be on a cruise ship in the Caribbean, which will run aground a research island. The passengers will have to try and find a way to survive before the disease catches up to them. The Cabin Fever prequel will be produced by Original Cabin Fever producer, Evan Astrowsky alongside the Indomina Group. The film's script will be taken on by "The Hitcher" remake director, Jake Wade Wall.
Although there is not a set date to when production will start, we do know that filming will take place in the Dominican Republic. If the film is successful, the producers are hoping to expand the series with a sequel titled Cabin Fever: Outbreak. We're guessing neither of these planned films will have anything to do with Ti West's 2009 straight to DVD title Cabin Fever 2: Spring Fever."

Accorcing to our pals at MTV, Magneto is to take CENTER STAGE in the sequel!

Recently Simon Kinberg who is writing/producing the sequel was out promoting his other flick THIS MEANS WAR, and gave MTV some deets about the sequel we are all so excited about.

First he hinted that there will be a lot more Magneto, who as you guys know is played by Michael Fassbender...he said, "I'm a huge X-Men fan. I grew up loving the comic books and it was really exciting to be able to do the origin story of Xavier and Magneto, and getting those two actors, James McAvoy and Michael Fassbender, were really amazing. So being able to explore those characters with actors of that quality will be exciting a second time around, and doing some things unexpected with those characters, which is the plan."

As you guys know, Magneto becomes the villain of the franchise, but apparently hes a much more complicated character as a youngin, and that's what they want to focus on! And lets be honest, Michael fassbender is an excellent actor, so if theres a person to lead the xmen film, we trust him to do a fine job!

Turtle fans are kinda pissed this morning...why you may ask? well...over the weekend, an interview with Michael Bay hit the web...and apparently he has some unexpected plans for the turtles...or should I say aliens. Hey guys Im Tatiana carrier with the latest on the teenage mutant ninja....turles?

Bays production company Platinum Dunes in charge of the Christmas 2013 release of a Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles reboot, and Bay spoke to press at the Nickelodeon Upfront in New York last week to talk about his plans for the movie-- and let it slip that the turtles this time around are going to be aliens.

Confused? Yea, us too...here is a direct quote from Bay, "When you see this movie, kids will believe one day that these turtles do exist, when we're done with this movie. These turtles are from an alien race, and they're going to be tough, edgy, funny and completely lovable."

I don't kow about you guys, but this seems all wrong to me. I get it, Michael Bay is known for bringing aliens to the big screen...but why go and change a good thing? Following Bays big reveal, twitter bblew up with dissappointmet TMNT fans, @mattaromando said, "I'm generally not a paranoid person, but I believe Michael Bay is waging a vendetta to destroy my childhood." FreddieC said, "This will change everything. Also that means no splinter training them and naming them after famous artists. This is pure bullshit."...and MarkLo9 sad it best with "WTF."

Is anyone out there happy about this alien news? Or all we all pretty much wishing Michael bay would just stick to ruining the transformers and keep his hands off of our turtles? Michael Bay tells us to CHILL and Leonardo has his back over the controversial Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtle Alien situation, here are the details!

AS you guys know, Bay announced last week that his reboot of the iconic series would change the origin of the heroes in a half shell from toxic ooze-induced mutation to birth on an alien planet...and you turtle fans were OUTRAGED! Even Robbie Rist, who voiced Michelangelo in the original movies, went as far as accusing Bay of "sodomizing" the franchise.

But another turtle, Brian Tochi, the actor who voiced Leonardo, sticks up for Bay....he told TMZ that quote, "If Michael Bay wants to do a different take on the turtles origin story ... mazel tov!"

Bay even penned his own note to fans, assuring them that they need not worry about his version of the pizza loving, crime fighting reptiles!

"Fans need to take a breath, and chill. They have not read the script...Our team is working closely with one of the original creators of Ninja Turtles to help expand and give a more complex backstory. Relax, we are including everything that made you become fans in the first place. We are just building a richer world."
