Hi guys, how's it going, I'm Bridget Daly for ClevverMusic. We're hearing even more rumors about Nicole Scherzinger getting axed from The X Factor. And now word on the street is that Mariah Carey is going to take her place! Apparently seeing the contestants be eliminated was too much for Nicole to handle last season, and she actually wanted out of the equation. And once Mimi got wind, she told Simon Cowell she'd be interested in filling the slot. A source says quote, She wants to be a judge and she is in secret talks with Simon Cowell. The two are good friends and she promised to help pull in monster ratings this coming season." Now Mariah was originally courted for the role as one of the judges originally but it interfered with her giving birth to her twins. But now she's apparently to commit full time to the position. Hi there, you're back at ClevverMusic with me, Bridget Daly. Well just call it the AXE factor! More news of firings today?not only is Nicole Scherzinger getting the boot off the X Factor, but word on the street is Paula Abdul is out too! The Hollywood Reporter claims Simon Cowell has been holding production meetings to assess what went wrong on season 1 of the show in the US, and one of the major points brought up was that Paula's role on the show was quote "irrelevant to the mix." Harsh!

As for Nicole, she was deemed unfit for the show because of how emotional she became with certain contestants, and apparently Simon wants a bigger celebrity to fill her spot next season. We've heard whispers about Mariah Carey getting hired, but that's just a rumor at this point. Also axed is host Steve Jones, and there's been no clear cut information on that decision. The only safe ones are the guys! Simon obviously, as well as LA Reid. So what do you think about all these changes, and who would you like to see replace Paula, Nicole and Steve? Will.i.am is busy prepping his forthcoming solo album called #willpower, and he's managed to lineup a pretty impressive roster of talent for it! will spoke with Capitol FM and revealed he's teamed up with Britney Spears in the studio on a track, as well as working with his own artists on his label LMFAO.
He added more info saying, "I have a song with Alicia Keys -- me, Alicia and Swedish House Mafia. "I have a song with me and Busta Rhymes and Swizz Beatz. I got a whole other bunch of collaborations."
One of those is reportedly Nicole Scherzinger. Wow. Talk about a lot of talent on one album! We're majorly looking forward to hearing this?especially the Britney track. Hi guys, Bridget here for CLevverMusic in Hollywood with an X Factor update. The latest is that Janet Jackson might be joining the show! Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that Janet is considering becoming a judge on the show and has already expressed her interest. She also spoke recently with Anderson Cooper and joked, "No I'm not a judge on the X Factor," to which Cooper replied, "You're not currently a judge on the X Factor," and she said "No I'm not, But that's all I really think I should say."

Simon is holding preliminary meetings this week to find replacements for Paula Adbul and Nicole Scherzinger, as well as host Steve Jones. Sources say Pink is also high on Cowell's wish list, as well as Katy Perry. Simon said of her, "She would be great. In terms of experience, success ... brilliant."

We're counting down the seconds until we can say "Judge Britney!" Hey guys, welcome back to ClevverMusic. Britney Spears is still in final negotiations for a spot on the judges table on the US version of "The X Factor." As the pop star nears a reported $15 million dollar deal, new allegations say her fiancé, and possible future co-conservator, Jason Trawick, will be a big part of the reality competition show as well.

According to E! Online, Trawick has landed a job as a prodocuer on "The X Factor," as part of Brit's final deal. Jason will be expected to be there every day the singer is on set. A source told E!, "He is her rock and will help guide her through the process. He is the person she trusts the most."

Whatever will make this deal happen, we are on board for. We can't wait to see Brit Brit take over reality TV. Now that both camps have reportedly come to an agreement on the fee, all they need to work out are the smaller points. The source said, "The fact the money is now set, means that there is nothing stopping this from becoming a reality."

As the deal closes, X Factor castoff judge Nicole Scherzinger has some comments on Britney taking her spot, "Britney is so bubbly and warm and everyone loves her anyway, so she just has to be herself."

Miley Cyrus is being considered for the job of X Factor judge. We just heard via Celebuzz that the star is in talks for the popular singing competition show, but nothing is confirmed as of yet. Remember that last season's judges Nicole Scherzinger and Paula Abdul need to be replaced after Simon Cowell fired them, and Britney Spears was the latest musician to be linked to the Fox show. In fact, as of now, we hear that the deal is not done but there are mentions that it's a 15-million dollar deal. Bringing it back to Miley Cyrus, do you think that she'd make a good X Factor judge? We actually think she'd be excellent for the show because she obviously has real-world experience AND she's confident to speak her mind -- therefore, helping the contestants and being able to eliminate singers round by round. We also hear via the outlet that Fergie, Avril Lavigne and Demi Lovato are on Simon Cowell's short list for the gig.
