Another boy band decides to get back together! Hey guys, I'm Bridget Daly and you're watching ClevverMusic. 98 Degrees apparently got the message that boy bands are cool again, and they're getting back in the saddle after a 10 year hiatus! According to RumorFix, Nick Lachey and the boys are following in the footsteps of New Kids and Backstreet and going on tour this summer!

Nick's rep isn't commenting on any details quite yet, but we should note that the guys' long dormant website was suddenly totally updated yesterday, leading Lachey to tweet out, "is it me, or does [the 98 degrees website] look a little different that it did yesterday? just saying........." Other members have been retweeting the news about their reunion today, but not confirming or denying it. Soooo basically that means it's true! We say they should go for it! Boy bands ARE hot right now. Besides super group NKOTBSB, Brit bands One Direction and The Wanted are also killing it. The time is now! What do you 98 egrees fans think of the news? Could One Direction's Harry Styles be headed for a solo career? Well, that's the latest scoop making the rounds today and according to tabloid publication Daily Star, Harry is currently in Los Angeles to take some meetings with companies that want to work with him on a solo level. A source reportedly revealed that Harry has quote "been offered a solo project," and that he's "been in America filming something -- an advertisement or film." The anonymous source wouldn't reveal any additional details, but did say that the gig is worth a lot of money. We brought you word a few weeks ago that yes, Harry did return to LA, but much of his return was due to the fact that his entire family had to move out of their home due to flocks of girls crowding outside their home. However, this story does bring up a good point -- in most super-successful boy-bands, at least one member takes a stab at a solo career. I mean, just look at Justin Timberlake or Nick Lachey or on a separate note -- look at Beyonce -- hello, she emerged as one of our generation's biggest stars after parting from Destiny's Child. SO with this thought in mind, do you think Harry should try his hand at a solo career sometime down the line? Or do you think another guy in 1D would do well rocking the stage alone.
