Tony Bennett 'Duets' Tracklist Includes Gaga, Amy Winehouse

The tracklisting for Tony Bennett's Duets 2 album has just come out, and it's a powerhouse list of artists. The record includes everyone from popstars like Lady Gaga, Carrie Underwood and Mariah Carey, to greats like Willie Nelson, Natalie Cole and Aretha Franklin. It's 17 tracks long, and includes a special duet with the late Amy Winehouse, with the proceeds of that particular single going to charity. As for the song selection, Bennett told USA Today in March, "We just tried to figure out what would feel natural for each artist." For example, he recorded a version of The Lady is a Tramp wth Lady Gaga that we simply cannot wait to hear, as we're sure they put their own spin on it. Bennett released his first 'Duets' album in 2006, teaming up with vets like Elton John, Paul McCartney and Stevie Wonder. It debuted at No. 3 on the Billboard 200, and spent five consecutive weeks in the Top 10. Just a hunch, but we think this follow-up may do even better. Umbria Jazz 2011: c'è anche Prince in programma

La novità per l'Umbria Jazz 2011 si chiama Prince, che sarà sul palco della manifestazione umbra il prossimo 15 luglio 2011. Questa, al momento, sembra essere l'unica data italiana per Prince, che è stato inserito all'ultimo momento nel calendario dopo la dipartita di Natalie Cole. Per la precisione Prince sarà in concerto all'Arena Santa Giuliana di Perugia a partire dalle ore 21.00 ma ancora non possiamo darvi informazioni sui biglietti e le prevendite. Rimedieremo non appena avremo modo. Ricordiamo che l'Umbria Jazz 2011 si svolgerà dal giorno 8 al giorno 17 luglio 2011 a Perugia e nel cartellone sono stati inseriti artisti storici di fama internazionale che attireranno fan vecchi e nuovi da ogni angolo della penisola. Nel programma della kermesse perugina vediamo infatti i nomi di BB King, Liza Minnelli, Carlos Santana, la Original Blues Brothers band, Gilberto Gil, Sergio Mendes, Ahmad Jamal con Hiromi, Brandford Marsalis. Tra gli artisti italiani che si esibiranno all'Umbria Jazz Festival 2011 ci sono invece Danilo Rea, Flavio Boltro, Renato Sellani, Funk Off, Gianluca Petrella, Dado Moroni, Roberto Gatto, Giovanni Guidi, Francesco Bearzatti, Franco D'Andrea, Stefano Di Battista, Claudio Fasoli, Gabriele Mirabassi, Ramberto Ciammarughi, Marco Tamburini, Rosario Giuliani, Fabrizio Bosso, Francesco Cafiso e Antonello Salis. Jackée Harry To Launch Her Signature Shake at Millions of Milkshakes!
Emmy Award-winning television icon, Jackée Harry, will be unveiling her own signature milkshake, the Jackée Frappé, at the immensely popular A-list eatery, Millions of Milkshakes, in support of Womens International Center. Ms. Harry will be mixing her delicious blend at West Hollywoods Millions of Milkshakes (located on the corner of San Vicente at 8910 Santa Monica Boulevard) on Monday, May 24, 2010 at 7:30pm.
Womens International Center (WIC) is a 28-year old non-profit 501(c)3 service and education organization, devoted to assisting disadvantaged women, children, and animals in Africa, South America, and the United States. The organization recently appointed Jackée to the post of Ambassador to Africa, which has her providing educational, safety, and economic resources to refugees and displaced women and children of the noted continent. A portion of the proceeds from all shakes purchased during the event will be donated to Womens International Center.
Jackée, known the world over, for her Emmy Award-winning iconic role as vivacious Sandra Clark on the hit NBC sitcom 227, as well as Oprah Winfreys critically acclaimed The Women of Brewster Place, Sister, Sister (which earned her multiple NAACP Image Awards), and Everybody Hates Chris... wants to use her universal platform to uplift those of dire circumstances. Thus, her alignment with the WIC organization.
Members of the international media will be on hand, along with expected appearances by Samuel L. Jackson, Regina King, Natalie Cole, Sharon Stone, and Ms. Harrys massive fan community.
