2011 Grammy Winner Predictions
http://bit.ly/eBd8wT - Click to Subscribe! Who's going to win at this year Grammy Awards? Find out the predictions Next! Hello everyone I'm Brian Corsetti for Clevver Music. It's that time again, The Staple Center is going to light up for the 53rd annual Grammy Awards, and I've got my predictions right now. Album of the Year Arcade Fire, The Suburbs Eminem, Recovery Lady Antebellum, Need You Now Lady Gaga, The Fame Monster Katy Perry, Teenage Dream Like every year it's a close call. The Grammy's are the hardest award show to predict, and its known for another band to come out from underneath to take the win. In this category Katie Perry's Teenage Dream was an absolute hit, but I don't think it has enough pull a win, however its going to make an amazing greatest hits album. Eminem's Recovery, made my eyes open. It's the typical comeback story which people are suckers for like myself. He got a lot of attention recently, he's up for 10 nominations, Dr. Dre produced the album, and there's been a lot of commercial appeal. Plus Dre and Em are going to be performing at the Grammy's for the first time in over a decade!!! Arcade Fire was great, but I'm going to go with Recovery for the Win only because I love Eminiem, but I'm a sucker for a come back. Record of the Year B.o.B (featuring Bruno Mars), "Nothin' on You" Cee Lo Green, "F--- You" Eminem (featuring Rihanna), "Love the Way You Lie" Jay-Z and Alicia Keys, "Empire State of Mind" Lady Antebellum, "Need You Now" Nothin' on You" went to #1, but it's not even B.o.B's most popular song; "Love the Way You Lie"; and "Empire State Of Mind" reached the peak of its popularity way back when I'm Thinking "Need You Now is going to win. Because you can't have a country song NOT win in the big 4. Plus all of Nashville will get pissed! Song of the Year Cee Lo Green, "F--- You" Eminem (featuring Rihanna), "Love the Way You Lie" Lady Antebellum, "Need You Now" Miranda Lambert, "The House That Built Me" Ray LaMontagne and the Pariah Dogs, "Beg Steal or Borrow" This category has Love the Way you Lie written all over it. Remember I said I was an Eminem fan right? His album came out at the right time, and it was a great comeback. Plus it's all about the lyrics in the category and Em is known for some sick lyrics. Best New Artist Drake Esperanza Spalding Florence and the Machine Justin Bieber Mumford & Sons Esperanza Spalding, is out because I don't think a lot of people have heard of her. Drake sold a lot of albums, and might take the win, but my gut is telling me no. Florence and the Machine have the skills, she's female (which grammy voters love) but I'm not convinced. Mumford & Sons don't have enough traction in the US yet but will eventually get there. Which leaves us with Justin Bieber...the only thing holding him back is his age. If he does not win its because people feel he has enough time to make up for it. However I have bieber fever...he's truly a talented kid, so my prediction is Justin Bieber. But seriously... we want to hear your predictions. Let us know in the comment section below and remember to keep checking back for all the latest music news and buzz right here on Clevver Music.

Taylor Swift confirms having two songs on the Hunger Games soundtrack and ClevverTV has the entire listing. Hey guys, I'm Joslyn Davis in Hollywood with the rundown on all of the artists set to be a part of the upcoming film's soundtrack. Already generating a ton of buzz is Taylor's collaboration with The Civil Wars, but now, thanks to the singer's interview with MTV, we know that both she AND the Civil Wars will have two songs on the soundtrack. Taylor's song is titled "Eyes Wide Open" and the Civil Wars song is titled "Kingdom Come." As far as the remaining 14 songs on the musical accompaniment to the film -- here's who you can look forward to hearing when the album is available on March 20th -- Arcade Fire, Kid Cudi, Miranda Lambert, The Decemberists, Glen Hansard, The Low Anthem, Punch Brothers, The Secret Sisters, Birdy, Ella Mae Bowen, Jayme Dee, Carolina Chocolate Drops and Neko Case. Talk about an incredible group on artists -- the only person missing that we've heard was set to be on the soundtrack is the film's leading lady herself, Jennifer Lawrence -- so what's up with that? We're not sure as of yet, but we will be keeping you posted as details emerge. Thanks so much for watching ClevverTV. I'm Joslyn Davis and I'll see you next time!

Hi guys, I'm Bridget Daly and you're watching ClevverMusic. Chris Brown's Grammys performance the other day is being met with major controversy?even amongst his own peers in the music industry. And now he's hitting back at the critics about not only his performance but his Grammy win too. Country star Miranda Lambert was one of the celebs not pleased with his appearance at the show, saying on Twitter, "Chris Brown twice? I don't get it. He beat on a girl ... Not cool that we act like that didn't happen. He needs to listen to Gunpowder and lead and be put back in his place. Not at the Grammys."

Several other stars and anti-domestic violence groups have spoken out as well, and it finally made Brown snap, with him responding on Twitter, "Hate all u want becuz I got a Grammy now! That's the ultimate f**k off!" He added, "I'm back so watch my back as I walk away from all this negativity." Both tweets have since been removed from his timeline. But now it's time for you to weigh in on the controversy?who do you side with? The critics or Chris? Comment below to let us know your thoughts, and stick with ClevverMusic for the very latest music news straight from Hollywood.

PRESENTED BY: CROW
DIRECTED BY: REV. JAY LEAL
Brought to you in Association with THE HARD ROCK CAFE in NASHVILLE TENNESSEE, THE RECORD SHOP NASHVILLE, and REBEL REV. PRODUCTIONS

Sarah Lou Richards stands at the hands of Americana tradition; a singer/songwriter and compelling bedrock artist with energy, emotion and the work ethic of a new generation.

Richards was born March 7, 1982 in Hudson, Wisconsin and at the age of nine, moved to Madison, Connecticut, where she was raised on her father's music junkie flair and her mother's vintage record taste.

She attended the Hartt School of Music in West Hartford, Connecticut. From there, Richards returned to the Midwest on a scholarship to study scores and compositions at the University of Wisconsin- Eau Claire. In 2005, she graduated with a major in Music Education and an emphasis on vocals.

Richards took what she learned during recitals and performances, to educate young, aspiring musicians. For nearly two years, Richards taught K-5 on the East Coast, only to find the classroom wasn't a perfect fit.

With just enough money set aside to pay for a couple months of rent, Richards crossed the Tennessee state line, determined to make a name for herself using her journal of song titles, hooks and lines.

After only a year of building on her songwriting and balancing three part-time jobs, Richards penned "Emerald City," a five-song EP that independently sold more than one thousand copies. Her first debut musical set on iTunes delivered a sneak peek into Richards' carefree view of life and wry sense of humor.

Taking inspiration from artists as diverse as mainstream acts like the Dixie Chicks, Miranda Lambert, and Bonnie Raitt to alternative singer-songwriters Ryan Adams, Brandi Carlile, Patty Griffin, and David Wilcox, Richards has crafted a debut cache of self-penned tunes that show off her talent not only as a vocalist but also as lyricist.

In 2010, she released "Ruby Red Shoes," a full length disc produced by Henry Paul (BlackHawk/ The Outlaws) capturing the fragrant nuance that marks Richards' artistry and on-stage talent.

The breadth of Richards' personal and professional life infuses a positive spirit, yet fierce intellect. Her music showcases one who is not afraid to be a real sinner and a quiet saint.

Today, she continues to embrace her growing fan base at a directory of honky-tonks, watering holes and music venues across the country. Her homemade success earns endless recognition as it comes alive without the benefit of a recording contract or publishing deal, but has stemmed solely from Richards' pure passion for song and voice.
