Dakota Fanning plays Currie, Kristen Stewart plays rhythm guitarist and vocalist Joan Jett, and Michael Shannon plays record producer Kim Fowley. Michael Shannon Confirms "General Zod" Motion Capture In 'Man of Steel'

Hey everyone, thanks for tuning back into clevver movies, Im your host, Tatiana carrier and ive got the latest on Man of Steal. Just a few weeks ago we reported on a someone, who we THOUGHT was Michal Shannon who plays General Zod in the flick, in a motion capture suit and now we have confirmation that it was infact him! So does this mean tha General Zod's costume would be CGI? Because the photos were taken from behind, it was difficult to tell for sure if they were actually of Shannon or someone else, but during an interview with Moviefone to discuss the new film 'Take Shelter,' Shannon confirmed that, yes, it was him in the stop motion suit. And, that yes, Zod's costume will be at least partially CGI. And Shannon definitely had his opionions about the tightly fitting, not so flattering, CGI gear: He said, "it's one of the most humiliating garments that exists in the known universe, yes. It's very tight. It has a variety of different colors and shapes on it and it makes you feel like you're the court jester." He also went on to explain that apparently Zach Snyder whos directing the flick promised Shannon that he would not havce to wear one of those quote, "silly suits."...well its looking like Snyder went back on his word and we have proof! Regardless of how awkward Shannon felt, we are pretty sure the CGI effects will be for the best and we cant wait to see how his character, general zod turns out! Michael Shannon talks last night's 'Boardwalk Empire,' Hey guys, IM Tatiana carrier and Ive got the latest on Boardwalk Empire. Micheal Shannon recently spoke to Entertainment Weekly and we have the Boarwalk Empire Scoop. Last night's episode ofBoardwalk Empire marked a pivotal turning point for lawman Nelson Van Alden, who has spent the first half of this season trying to keep his baby mama Lucy a secret from his loving wife. When asked about Van Alden justifying his relationship to Lucy to himself and if his plan to give this baby to his wife? Shannon said, "The idea was that he could somehow get away with claiming that this baby was left on a quote-unquote doorstep. He somehow managed to almost pull it off. If you step away and look at it, it is a ludicrous plan." When asked about his characters transofrmation, he said, "It's like he's underwater, and he's trying to get back to the surface. Last season, he was very focused on what was going on around him: The external. This season, he's very focused on himself, and trying to salvage himself." He also touched on the other projects he is working on....and the differences between doing tv one day and movie the next, he said, The difference is, when you go to Boardwalk Empire, you're living your life. It's not just this one story where you know the beginning, and the middle, and the end, and then it's over. You know that it's going to continue. After a season of being in Van Alden's shoes, and worrying about all the various things he has to worry about, it's nice to go off and put on another costume. It gets to be a little uncomfortable. Hey guys, tatiana carrier here for clevver movies with a casting couch update from Chris Evans! . Its looking like Captain America and General Zod are set to share the same screen. According to our friends at Deadline, Chris Evans has replaced James Franco in the adaptation of The Iceman: The True Story of a Cold-Blooded Killer. . AS you guys know, James Franco had to step out due to scheduling conflicts and despite him leaving the flick, the cast is pretty solid! Man of Steel's Michael Shannon plays Richard Kuklinski, the imposing mob hit-man who bragged of committing more than 100 gruesome murders, and Evans will play his mentor in the crime drama, based on Anthony Bruno's 1993 book. . Production is set to begin in January, with Israeli director Ariel Vromen at the helm. . Do you guys think Chris Evans was a good choice to replace franco?
