Looks like we are one step closer to getting Police Warfare. What's Police Warfare you ask? Well it's what happens when the guys who worked on titles like Assassin's Creed 2, Crysis 2, Far Cry 3, and Grand Theft Auto 4, want to make a game by gamers for the gamers. And now, because of Kickstarter, we might actually see this game come to light.

This game is being developed by the indie group Elastic Games and with some help funding from a kickstarter campaign we'll have a full fledged multiplayer game witch pits cops vs robbers. Based in Los Angeles revolving around around LA's SWAT team. Two teams step head to head in multiple multiplayer modes. Something like Battlefield 3's Rush mode.

Inspired by games like Battlefield 3, GTA's multiplayer, and of course, Michael Mann's Heat, this game will first be released on PC, but hopefully we'll have a PS3 and Xbox DLC version. Much like Battlefield 1943. This actually seems really cool. And thanks to kickstarter it's getting easier for developers to get cool indie games like this out infront of people.
