STORY: MOSCOW FOOTBALL FANS, POLICE CLASH DATELINE: Dec. 10, 2010 LENGTH: 0:01:03 LOCATION: Moscow INTRO Hundreds of football fans in Moscow have clashed with police as they took to the streets, protesting against the death of a fan. The fatal football brawl earlier this week came only days after Russia was awarded the hosting rights for the 2018 World Cup. PKG More than 2,000 fans on Saturday gathered near Red Square in central Moscow, attempting to break through a police cordon. The fans were protesting the death of Yegor Sviridov, a 28-year-old supporter of the Spartak club. He was killed by four shots from a rubber-bullet pistol during a mass brawl between football fans on Monday. The police have detained a suspect from the North Caucasus republic of Kabardino-Balkar. Local media reported that three people from the North Caucasus region were injured after being attacked by football hooligans during the clash. On February 19th, some of the films stars and several of the artists form the "Almost Alice" soundtrack will appear together the Hollywood and Highland center right here in LA. And fans who can't be in attendance need not worry, because the entertainment extravaganza will also be streamed live on myspace.com. Musical acts like 3OH!3, Metro Station, Family Force 5, Kerli and Never Shout Never will be on hand to perform at the star studded event. First it was newlywed Hillary Duff announcing her and her new hubby are expecting their first child, and now H-D's fellow Disney alum Brenda Song is telling the world that she and Trace Cyrus will be seeing their own bundle of joy in several months as well. Brenda and Trace made their first public appearance as a couple at Nylon's Young Hollywood event in May, but they'd been quietly dating prior to that. Brenda has been on the Disney scene for several years, and is most memorable for her roles in "The Suite Life of Zack and Cody," and in the Oscar nominated film "The Social Network." Trace, Miley Cyrus' older brother, achieved success of his own with the band Metro Station, and he is also currently working on a clothing line. We actually caught up with Brenda just a few days before she announced her pregnancy, and she looked gorgeous and was in great spirits. Plus hello, has anyone else out there realized what this means?
