You won't want to miss this big update up next on ClevverTV! Hey guys, I'm your girl Dana Ward at the ClevverTV studios today with some major casting scoop on the upcoming Hunger Games movie. The role of Katniss Everdeen has officially been cast, and Oscar-nominee Jennifer Lawrence has nabbed the part. Website TheWrap.com was first to report that Jennifer had landed role of the conflicted heroine from Suzanne Collins' best-seller about children forced to compete in a fight-to-the-death battle. There were several leading ladies in Hollywood who were battling it out for the role, including Abigail Breslin, Kaya Scodelario, Chloe Moretz, and fellow Oscar-nominee Hailee Steinfeld. Both Lionsgate and Lawrence's rep haven't responded to the news. Those of you unfamiliar with Jennifer can catch her in the critically acclaimed film Winter's Bone. She can also be seen in the upcoming Mel Gibson movie The Beaver, as well as X-Men First Class. Meanwhile, the casting for Katniss' love interests Gale and Peeta still remains a mystery. Alex Pettyfer, Josh Hutcherson and fan-favorite Hunter Parrish are all reportedly in contention for the role of Peeta Meelark. All four films in the series were directed by Richard Donner, and also share many of the same core cast members...definitely a series of films that will keep you on the edge of your seat from start to finish! IN 4th place is Aliens- The planet from Alien has been colonized, but contact is lost. This time, the rescue team has impressive firepower, but will it be enough!?!?!? Signorney weaver stars in this classic and is a movie that if you have not seen it, you must! Terminator 2: Judgement Day takes the third place spot on our countdown. Starring Arnold swatzeneggar, this flick follows the story of The cyborg who once tried to kill Sarah Connor must now protect her teenage son, John Connor, from an even more powerful and advanced Terminator. And in at number 2 is Raiders of the Lost Ark. Starring Harrison ford and releasesd in 1981, this adventurous film is the tale of Archeologist and adventurer Indiana Jones who is hired by the US government to find the Ark of the Covenant before the Nazis. And finally last but certainly NOT least...DIE HARD comes in at number one for best action movie on our countdown!!! Released in 1988 this class stars bruce willis and is about New York cop John McClane who gives terrorists a dose of their own medicine as they hold hostages in an LA office building. No Sex for Neal McDonough & He Forgives Mel Gibson @ Katsuya
The devout Catholic ,Neal McDonough, was set to star in the upcoming ABC dramedy Scoundrels,but was fired for refusing to do sex scenes for the show. When asked if he would ever work with Mel...he said that he absolutely would, everyone makes mistakes and as a Catholic you must forgive.

Neal and his wife were quite giddy as they waited for their car outside of Katsuya when commenting on the handlebar mustache. It would appear Neils wife is NOT a fan!!!

Mel Gibson in talks for a supporting role in Machete Kills...details coming your way!

Accorsing to deadline, Mel Gibson is now in serious discussions to play a supporting role in Machete Kills, the Robert Rodriguez-directed sequel that will bring Danny Trejo back as the blade-wielding former Federale title character.

In the sequel, Machete is drafted by the U.S. government to track an arms dealer through Mexico before he can launch a rocket. Deadline revealed earlier this month that Gibson was among the talent that Rodriguez was discussing for roles in the film, with others including Michelle Williams.
