Hi there, I'm Bridget Daly with new details on Amy Winehouse's unreleased music. As you know she's been working on her third album for what seems like forever, and apparently she has a lot of material that was being sorted through for her upcoming album. The Daily Telegraph reports that Amy had acquired 2 years worth of music, and a lot of it was still at the demo stage. According to the paper, Amy's parents Mitch and Janis will have access to the material that included collaborations with both Salaam Remi and Mark Ronson. Winehouse's rep stressed to MTV that "There is no information on any new music at this time." Now as you might recall, Amy talked about her third album back last summer, saying, "The album will be six months at the most. It's going to be very much the same as my second album, where there's a lot of jukebox stuff and the songs that are ... just jukebox, really." We're months will go by before we hear of any music actually being released, and we're likely looking at a situation like Michael Jackson's, who's album Michael came out posthumously. One of Amy Winehouse's close friends and former producers Mark Ronson found a way to pay tribute to her in the best way he could?thru a performance. Mark performed on stage with Amy's backing band the Dap-Kings in England, just hours after he had attended her funeral. The band played Valerie in her honor, which was of course a cover song collaboration Amy and Mark had done with one another back in 2007 for Ronson's album Version. Ronson addressed the crowd, saying, "It's really lovely getting to play some music here for you tonight. That's what makes everything better. "The genius in that woman and what she shared with us is pretty special," he continued. "I'm not going to get all morbid on you. It's just nice to be playing music to people who like good music. She is my sister, wherever she is." Mark then played Amy's biggest hit "Rehab" during a DJ set in the middle of the concert, and performed "Back To Black" along with Winehouse's band.
