According to the Hollywood reporter, Comic creator Mark Millar said in a recent interview that Kick-Ass 2, the follow-up to the 2010 superhero movie, is set to start filming within the next several months.

Millar said, "We shoot Kick-Ass 2 and American Jesus this summer. Then Matthew [Vaughn] and I have Secret Service, which is a neddy James Bond."

It was previously revealed that original Kick-Ass director Matthew Vaughn would be involved in the film, but strictly as a producer since he announced in January that he would be directing the sequel to last year's X-Men: First Class. There is no word on who will helm the flick or who is attached to star, but we will be certain to keep you guys posted as this story develops!
