How's it going, I'm Bridget Daly for CLevverMusic in Hollywood. As you know Tony Bennett and lady Gaga recently worked together, singing a track for his upcoming album Duets 2. Well Gaga must have charmed the pants off him, because Bennett has given her a huge compliment! Speaking with Billboard, Tony said, "I never met a more talented person in my life. I think she's going to become as big as Elvis Presley." Now keep in mind, Tony Bennett has been around for a couple years, and has worked with countless musicians and artists. So to say Gaga is the most talented person he's ever met?well that's saying something! He had nice words to say about everyone who will appear on the Duets album, including Mariah Carey, John Mayer and the late Amy Winehouse. He said, "I can't tell you how professional every one of them was, and how they worked and memorized and knew what they were going to do. And it shows up on the record, you know? You can hear them performing very well for us." We can't wait to hear it! Especially the Tony-Gaga collab of Lady is a Tramp! It drops on September 20th, which is less than a month away! Im Dana Ward here in Beverly Hills and theres definitely been a big stir surrounding American Idol having Miley Cyrus as a guest mentor to its 11 finalists this season. The reason its such a big deal to some people is because previous show mentors include more experienced music icons, such as Diana Ross, Mariah Carey and Tony Bennett. So Cyrus dished some constructive criticism to the singers and then she also took to the stage for a little singing of her own. Of course in the entertainment business, the show must go on and that it did. Miley performed her When I Look at You for the live results show. Im thinking she did a pretty good job for a live performance, but what did you guys think? Mariah Carey's X Factor Role Finalized

Well things are getting official with the X Factor! Mariah Carey's role on the show has just been explained. According to People, she will appear as quote a guest of a judge. Any wild guesses on who's guest she is? If you said Simon Cowell, you're right! A show source said, "Mariah is definitely confirmed to be a part of X Factor. She is confirmed to tape something with Simon Cowell at the judge's homes." Just this month Cowell expressed his love for Mariah, saying, "You can't say no to Mariah. We have to find a role for her. I'm a huge fan of hers -- not just as an artist, but as a person, and I love her to death." In related news, The cover of the Hollywood Reporter just came out with the entire X Factor team on it?Cowell, Paula Abdul, Nicole Scherzinger, LA Reid and Steve Jones. Noticably missing is Mariah, but now at least we don't have to worry about her actually appearing! Sounds like she's going to be a mentor type figure for the show. Rihanna to Guest Judge 'The X Factor'

Well Rihanna is all over the place these days. Not only was her collaboration with Coldplay just announced today, but she's also scheduled to appear on The X Factor now too! According to TMZ, Simon Cowell has snagged RiRi to guest judge on an episode of the premiere season in the US. The way it works is the judges on the show bring on guests to help them decide which contestants to mentor. Rihanna will reportedly work specifically with LA Reid to decide which ones to keep on the show. This isn't Ri's first go-around with The X Factor either?she did the finale of the UK show last year, and source say she loved doing it. Other artists on the short list to appear are Mariah Carey, Justin Bieber, Usher, Pink and Avril Lavigne?this according to The Hollywood Reporter. Sound like it's going to have lots of star power, and we can't wait for the premiere September 21st! The regular edition will have a bunch of tracks like "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town" "Christmas Eve" "Christmas Love" and "All I Want Is You. It will also feature some guest collaborations including Usher on "The Christmas Song" Mariah Carey on "All I Want For Christmas Is You" and Busta Rhymes on "Drummer Boy." "Mistletoe" is set for official release on November 1st, but the good old Biebs is keeping his fans happy, by releasing yet another song from the release. This go-round, J-B is putting out one of his talked-about collaborations, and this one is particularly special because it features Justin's very own mentor and friend, Usher. The talented pair take on a holiday favorite, officially called "The Christmas Song," but Justin's been referring to it as Chestnuts, because of the line in the song that says "Chestnuts roasting on an open fire." The song is absolutely amazing and fans are loving it -- there's also a really cool behind the scenes segment showing off Usher and Justin doing their thing in the studio together. Keep in mind guys, this is just one of several collaborations that we can look forward to hearing on this release. Justin will also be singing alongside his friend Chris Brown and music legend Mariah Carey. Non sono stati ancora comunicati i nomi che sono stati dati ai due gemellini, ma in passato il marito di Mariah Carey, Nick Cannon, ha dichiarato avrebbero dato ai bambini dei nomi semplici. With the release of Justin Bieber's highly anticipated Christmas album just days away, J-B is giving fans a bit more of a taste-test when it come to some of the biggest tracks. Two of the releases most high profile songs -- one featuring Mariah Carey and the other featuring Busta Rhymes -- just became available. And I have to say, Justin Bieber is killing it yet again -- in fact, I'm going to side with what J said on twitter and agree that everyone needs to forget about the hype and let the music speak for itself, because it can most definitely stand alone, especially when you take these two collaborations into consideration. First up, is Justin's duet with Mariah Carey on her original song and Christmas classic "All I Want For Christmas is You." Keep in mind this track is easily one of the most beloved modern holiday songs, so the fact that she agreed to share it with Justin BIeber is a huge deal. The new mix of the Bieber-infused song is upbeat, fun, and honestly if you're not smiling after you listen to this song, then I think you've got some bigger fish to fry, because "All I Want For Christmas Is You" is the perfect of example of what a holiday song should sound like and and how it should make you feel. Next up is J's track with Busta Rhymes on a revamped, hip-hop version of Drummer Boy. BUsta nails it in the song and Bieber fans will agree that this is a great song for Justin in particular because he's been playing the drums since he was a little kid. This track is sure to get any holiday party going and is a fun, super-fast-paced change-up from what most people think of when they think Christmas album.
